Description

I feel that the chat is too fast, I don't have enough time to read.

Can you make it so to go to the next set of text you left click? Because you have like 2 seconds to read what they say.

This is a known problem with Oblivion, and I have provided a solution in the installation.

Follow the Instructions in the Installation Guide and install Ely's Silent Voice.

If you have Ely's Silent Voice installed properly and working, and the text is still too fast, you might want to try the protocolled dialogues mod:  http://morroblivion.com/forums/morroblivion/mods/2319

If you're not sure you did it right, make sure OBSE and Ely's Silent Voice are installed properly and that you are using the latest version available: http://obse.silverlock.org/

Your folder structure should be like this for Ely's Silent Voice (and all other OBSE plugins):

  • C:\games\oblivion\Data\OBSE\Plugins\Elys_USV.dll
  • C:\games\oblivion\Data\OBSE\Plugins\Elys_USV.lip
  • C:\games\oblivion\Data\OBSE\Plugins\Elys_USV.mp3
  • C:\games\oblivion\Data\OBSE\Plugins\Elys_USV.txt

And like this for OBSE:

  • C:\games\oblivion\obse_1_2_416.dll
  • C:\games\oblivion\obse_editor_1_2.dll
  • C:\games\oblivion\obse_loader.exe
  • C:\games\oblivion\obse_steam_loader.dll

Then run Oblivion using OBSE_loader.exe -- do NOT run oblivion with Oblivion.exe or OblivionLauncher.exe, otherwise OBSE won't be running and Ely's Silent Voice won't work.
