As I've played the last couple weeks I've tried to write down any bugs I could find. Most of these are small, and I'm hoping a lot of them are already fixed in v036, but thought I should list them. If you know one of these is fixed, let me know and I'll cross it out.

I tried to include the version I was playing when I encountered the bug and any fix I used to get around it. This list is supposed to help the people here. It isn't to meant to be negative. The people here have done a wonderful, and I mean wonderful, job with Morroblivion. Keep up the great work everyone!

 


-V034 Edwinna of the mages guild tells me she doesn’t have duties for me. I am supposed to come back to her when I have reached the level of a conjurer. (Even though I am).

-v035 – purple floor in solstheim caves and borrows. Files such as 0InUBMUtombUcornerU01 redirect to textures/ordered. I just copied all dds files with ordered in their name to that folder to fix the problem.

-v034 Though Ralen hlaalu is supposed to be dead, I’ve seen him milling about the Ebonheart grand council looking quite well dressed. Perhaps this is why I had trouble with his quest.

-v035 BLOODMOON During the patchwork Airship the Chieften’s axe was where the Amulet of Infectious charm was. I activated the axe while trying to grab the amulet and suddenly thirsk wanted to make me their chieften. I think that the quest that uses the axe need to enable the axe at whatever quest stage, and before that have the axe initially disabled.

-v035 I finished the thieves guild and became master thief. Yay! However, my ‘advancing through the thieves guild quest’ is stuck on “I’ve achieved the rank of master mind” and isn’t completed, though in factions it says I am the master thief. Also, Our friend Gentlemen Jim Stacey is still hanging about, though they say he is gone. EDIT: I think that I am now the Master Theif, though Jim is still hanging around.

-v035 Before I killed Hard-heart he told me to off the thieves guild bosses. Since he’s dead and I’ve finished the fighter’s guild, I couldn’t finish that quest if I wanted to: no one to report to. Shouldn’t it complete itself when you kill him?

-V034  Huleeya continues to follow me after vivec informants is over. (Seems like npc’s get stuck following you when they should pick a new package).

-V035 The wise woman in Trade Mission to the Zainab, after telling me what her tribe needs: I went to vivec and suddenly she was constantly moving to my position. She wasn’t following me, but it looked like a script with moveto player was constantly running over and over. I had to disable her to keep playing. (TAI wouldn’t stop her from warping to me).

-V034 Winged Twilight’s seem really stretchy when they die. I’ve seen a lot of creatures stretch a little, but not too noticeably, while it seems like someone just yanks the twilight’s pretty hard when they die.

-v035 During the Hlaalu Stronghold mission the guard never seemed to show up at my stronghold. I made a quick fix esp that placed him in my stronghold.

 -v036 Whenever I drop into lava for the first time, I seem to fall through lava and go to a screen of fog that I can't get out of. When I reload the lava works perfectly with damage and every thing. This one is my fault, but it's still a bug. Any ideas?

I'll update this when I find new bugs to small for their own thread. I figure if other people have bugs that don't deserver their own thread, they can post them here to, and then when the bugs are fixed we can cross them out. Here's to an ever better Morroblivion!

I've had the same issue with Edwinna, altough the game does'nt tell you anything along the lines it has a hidden skill requirement, I think I had to get my Destruction (main magic) to 50 or 60 and one of my other magics to 30, I've finished Edwinna at this point, nearly through Skinks but because of Ajira's Galbedir bug (if it hasn't been fixed yet) I'm not sure if it's even possible to become Arch-Mage right now.

And the Zainab woman did exactly the same the first time I loaded up v35, had enough trouble getting rid of her the first time (had to tell her to follow and not follow like 5 times) but now she just gets teleported to your location (this was Solstheim in my case) even pushing my PC away from wherever I was trying to stand, after much consoling I managed to get her to drop through the floor with disable much like you seem to have done.

Agreed. I had to disable the zainab woman. Regarding edewina, all my character's skills (aside from heavy armour) are at 100 or above. (I made it so that I could do as many training sessions as I could pay for, lol). So I don't think its a skill requirement...

Extract and copy this to your Data folder and then try again (overwrite when asked to) ... if the problem persists then please post a few screenshots so I can know which parts stretch.

Before the neck was stretchy, but your hotfix totally nailed it. Winged Twilights look totally normal when they die now. Thanks!

Abernanit door wont opet. I mean that "A worn door" wont move. I actually hear a rat on the other side but cant open the door. The cave is a quest location for Rescue Dandsa - Imperial Legion. I "activate" the door but it just doesnt move. Help please.

Go in to Consel Type ( TDT ) at door Lick on door will give you door Number to Post a lot Easer to Check Up,Every thing is Controlled by Numbers

Just got to your Door ("A Worn Cavern Door") 0185bf8b had a Diseased Shalk Door opened no Problems

You have saved some where before you went in

Open Consel Type TCL press enter and see what is on Other side of Door

The door opens away from player a Rat should not be Enough to stop the Door opening

A bit Strange I opened the Door no Problems At All,Went to Shut the Door and The Trap Went off,, seeing it is a Traped Door

Went and Reloaded where i had Saved in Gnaar Mok went and Redid Door Trap is Set on Door when Open

Trird time Trap is working Properly when you try and open the Door

4,5,6 Times I Reloaded the Autosave at Abernanit door, never got to  the Door the Diseased Shalk Opens the Door.

I've entered another cave with another character and  he has the same problem. I just cant opet any "A Worn Cavern Door". Luckily, i entered TCL and went through the door to rescue Dandsa and the quest was succesfully completed. There was a rat behind the door. I even tried opening the door from the other side but nothing happened. I'm using oldblivion, does that have anything to do with these doors?

Problem you can not TCL through every door some doors are a seperate Cell the other side

is surpriseing Morroblivion Installed

I'm just having problems with doors that do not lead into "another area" or cell as you call it. Now to teach these Dark Elves that Deadra should not be worshiped.
