Cannot make ammends with Thieves Guild

Recently I downloaded Morroblivion and so far it's been great. One of the first things I did was join the Thieves Guild. I am pretty sure this happened as soon as I joined, but after I joined I realized that when I clicked on "Price on my head" from sugar lips or any other thieves guild master I would get the "You are not part of the thieves guild, take care of that first and then we'll talk" kinda message. However, I could still receive quests and do jobs, and when I clicked on Join the Thieves Guild, they would tell me that "You are already part of the thieves guild." So I ignored it for a while and did quite a few quests for this faction, and eventually I saw the "Make ammends" option. When I clicked on it, I get the reply "No, you have shown us you have no honor at all" or something similar. From what I hear, I have a few chances before I get completely expelled from the thieves guild. I believe that normally I would have to pay them to let me join again.
So what's weird is that I am part of the thieves guild, but at the same time I've been expelled (I don't even know when this happened, I was never informed). I can still do jobs like a normal member, but when I click on "price on my head" or "make ammends" I am treated like I am not part of the guild. Is there any way to fix this? Is there something I am doing wrong? Or is there any sort of cheat to reset my reputation with the thieves guild?

What is the last quest you made for Thieves Guild or that caused this?
Currently I have done all the quests in Banora and have moved to taking jobs from Aengoth the Jewelrer in Ald Ruhn. I am currently doing the quest by Aengoth where I have to get four scrap metals from a Dwenmer Ruin. But this problem happened almost from the beginning. I clicked on "Price on your head" after doing a quest or so and I was being told "You were expelled from the guild, come to me once that's sorted out". I didn't try "Make ammends" until after completing all of Banora's thieves guild quests and after that when I tried they told me "No, you have shown you have no honor at all". But I can somehow still do quests and get promotions, I am currently an operative.

And by "I finished all the quests in Banora" I mean I did all of Sugar-Lips's jobs.
Okay, I wanted this information for someone else who can fix it. I don't know CS that much.
OK, thanks please let me know as soon as possible. I just want to make ammends with the thieves guild so if there is any way of doing that, even if it means modifying or cheating a little I am cool with that.
Thieves' Guild members thinking you were expelled when choosing the "Price on your head" topic was an error in dialog.
I have fixed that for the next release.
However, the rest of this topic does not appear to work either, and I have not done any research on how it is supposed to work. If somebody else knows how this is supposed to work and can fix it that would be great, otherwise I have no idea when I will get to it.
Whomever you speak to should go through the motions and tell you it's taken care if, but it won't be.
As far as really making amends when kicked out of the Guild, that is ANY guild, to my knowledge none of this works for any guild. I didn't debug that part of the dialog. Again, I have no idea when I will get to that. It's not something that I would ever need myself, so it is too easy for me to keep putting off...

Thanks for fixing it I was about to post the same thing then I found this but know I'm theiving and stealing again with the Theives Guild once again thanks Dave B.
As far as I know, it is not possible to make ammends in ANY guild if you get kicked out.
I have no intention of ever addressing this.
It certainly should be possible to make ammends, but since I have never, and never will be kicked out of any guild, I am not going to spend the time it would take to do this. When I get back into things, I would rater spend time on other things, like finishing Tribunal, Bloodmoon, and the East Empire Company, or a whole list of other things that will perpetually keep me occupied.
So, unless somebody else comes along and has the inclination to fix this, my advice is NOT to get kicked out of any guild.
