In the game Of Morrowind I remember Creeper. A Scamp in Caldera, whom of wich had a 5000 drake Buy limit (as in how much you could sell to him) And he was always my number one merchant in Morrowind. Now in Morroblivion He is just a scamp in caldera. In the house of the Orcs next to the armorer's house and across the traders house. Creeper has No Dialouge what so ever. he doesnt even have the menu option. Im wondering if it was left to be like that on purpose or if you may have forgotten something. Also some of the items in that house are able to be taken from, books worth 200- 250+ drakes are able to be taken, as well as orc armor from the orc inside the house on the top floor in one of the boxes. other than that amongs a shortcut for something else that i sent to one of the modders here, and its up to them to post the email if they wish or just include it in next update. Other than that, I just wanted to point that out in case it needed or not neeeded to be fixed. The Choice is yours,

Yeah, I have been unable to figure this one out. Same with the mudcrab. I'm not sure how to make them offer services properly, since they are creatures.

Creatures cannot have dialog.
It would probably be possible to dress an NPC up in a Scamp suit, but is definitely not possible to dress one up in a Mudcrab suit and have it work.
That was the same basic thing that was attempted with Yagrum, but it does not work because the skeletons do not match. Mudcrabs have more legs than most NPC's...
The Scamp is not one I am going to attempt myself because I've never seen the original and know nothing about it. Technically, I believe this would fall under the broad category of "Merchants..."
Heh, yeah I tried a few things but I gave up on it. I didn't look at how they did it in the original Morrowind Construction Set, so that might yield some clues... Cheaterly eastereggs like Creeper are not really the highest priority heh...
I have an idea, I am not used to CS, but if you can create an NPC with the length of the scamp, let him wear a %100 Chameleon ring or something, then put it inside the scamp, through closing(or opening not so sure which one) collosion, you can create a Scamp Merchant.
Make the scamp a npc race. Like they did with Daedras or any other race in Oblivion. Someone made a mod where you can use trolls as a playable race.
Talkie Toaster made a playable Spider Daedra race (for some reason posting the link to Nexus is getting a spam filter?) ... so I am guessing that mudcrab or Yargum are indeed possible.
Its done by assign an NPC with a new skeleton in the Construction Set (which is possible and will work as long as it has a few needed bones added. Morroblivion already uses this method to some extent (Vivec has an altered skeleton with built in ears).
In any case an NPC Mudcrab or Creeper won't necessarily be your
disposition-less merchant who gives you exact amounts of money for
value.
There is a tutorial for making npcs into playable characters. I believe on nexus if you search playable creatures, in the description of one of the files there is a link to a tutorail. But i remember it saying that it doesnt work with mudcrabs.
If you have a link to the tutorial that would be great. It is going to take someone with fairly advanced skills to fix these two creature-merchants...
There may be a possible work around solution to mudcrab. Is it possible to take a normal NPC and give him a Mudcrab for a Head? If so you could then 'bury' him up to his neck and tell him to stand still. Don't know how viable this Idea is, but I thought I'd put it out there!
So Hashmi1 has been working on this, and created a "Creeper" character.
