OMG Eloth, these look freakin awesome!!! Grraaaaggghhhh AWESOME!!! :D
For example the rocks in the ashlands, those look %1000 better than what we had before.
How are lights going by the way? I saw the lights in your Balmora at night pic a few days ago.
About the armor: Yeah, I guess it would probably just be better to keep the default Morrowind system, plus it would make it so you can use default Skyrim boots. Maybe it can be made as a mod a year down the road when most everything else is complete. Well, thanks for the reply Ramms. :)
Here is a random video I recorded in Ald'ruhn with Skywind. I would have recorded more, but I was rushing like crazy, because for some reason I CTD quite often. I think it has to do with doors lols.
I was trying to record some Daedric ruins, but sadly it crashed on me(I recorded this before the video above), but I decided to just upload it. It's muted, and corrupted(not even sony vegas opens it). I have one more crash video I recorded, that I'll upload.
I may try reinstalling Skywind to see if it fixes my random CTD.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=jExaltgeENA For all of you Oblivion lovers out there, who feels they're getting over looked! Here is a tiny bit of The Imperial City!
Also, I think I fixed my crash issue by reinstalling and starting a new game(something I should have did in the first place). Anyway, got any suggestions? Criticism? Feel free to share!
Cool, I'll watch your videos in awhile to check out your work. There are a lot of crashing issues, so maybe I'll make a thread later explaining how you can fix some of them. No promises though. :)
some more screens showing my progress, im finished with adding bump maps/specular capability on all exterior meshes, and now im experimenting with new normal maps for landtextures, giving them much more depth, and details, so
Eloth, amazing screens as always! I'm loving them, definitely going to use one as a wallpaper :D
So shadows can't be cast over water? Like in the pics, the rocks don't cast shadows over the water?
Iniquity: Yeah, nothing wrong with that. I honestly don't get these 1080p resolutions. They don't look much better at all than 720p, yet the performance cost is huge. I myself use 1280x 720, in fact my monitor doesn't even support higher than 1366x 768.
I never noticed that about the shadows, maybe that is just some strange lighting setting?
Who knows, if we make it good enough perhaps Bethesda will come crawling on their hands and knees, and begging us to let them use it as DLC. Well at least I can hope.... :)
Hey Shadow, you could be bang on the button there, because if we end up with just a master and a few bsa files, they would not even have to package it.:)
I think that VC tool might turn out to be just what we needed, because Beth used it themselves on thier networks to keep the masters updated within thier team,it must be quite powerful.
Yeah, it is sounding awesome. Hopefully there won't be any unforseen bugs though.
I'm not keeping my hopes up, but I really would love for this to be official DLC. Think about all the new voice acting, and updated meshes... Ah, but now I'm dreaming again. :)
The land textures do look better than current Morroblivion ones, and are quite nice, but I think they still need some work. There's just too much noticible tesselation of certain parts.
Okay guys, so I decided to test out Windows Movie Maker and see what I could come up with. This video uses many of the screenshots posted by Eloth on this thread, plus one of the project logos created by Iniquity. I hope you guys don't mind. :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jInTPKMXpzY I also made a small video with Balmora and the new map markers, and also left a little message about what I thought of Eloth's mesh/textures. =p
Hey Eloth, I know you posted your enb settings a few weeks ago, but for some reason when I took a few minutes to try it out the whole world became dark, and you basically couldn't see any textures. Know where I can read up on how to properly use enb?
im not lagging that much, its playable almost :) i have a 6970 card though, and have ugridstoload=9 and lots of other stuff enabled.
You can turn off SSAO, thats the biggest killer, and antialiasing.
Well you have a 6970 >_> that explains it(one day I'll upgrade!). Your enb actually dropped my frames quite low. I had a fully modded Skyrim with pretty much every HD mod, texture update and everything, and it still ran at 50~60 frames in 1080. I'm actually quite amazed! =p Oh, and I'll try your suggestion.
My ENB is use currently in Skyrim eats about 10 FPS without SSAO and AA enabled. It looks amazing though, it also allows for Parralax maps since it's based on the 0.112 KAGE version.
Man, I didn't think it was possible to make morrowind BETTER. Today I installed morroblivion and thought to myself, "man, morrowind can't get better than THIS", and then I see this... I'm pretty sure Mr. Eloth can probably make pigs fly.
Anyways, keep up the good work. I'd like to contribute, don't know much about this and dont have money to donate. So if you need something fairly easy, let me know. I'm deployed in Qatar and sit in a tower for eight hours a day and still have eight months to kill. So, I have time.

Guys I just registered to say that this just blew my mind away, as I haven't played morrowind yet, I was planing to after skyrim but I think the copy I just bought will wait for this to be playable, keep up the good work and you guys are my heroes.
eloth!) your screens are awesome! again and again!
thanks for the comments :) Lights is progressing slowly, only 4 lanterns finished, after im finished with the exterior meshes, i
will dedicate more time for them :)
Who will be in charge of merging fixes/updates into the master? If someone will volunteer check this
page out for activating version control, which allows to do all those thing with the CK:

Awesome job Eloth!! :D
I already can't wait for more screens. :)
Edit:

Here is a screenshot that can be used as a wallpaper or something:
very nice work :) looks like our future custom main menu is in place :)
thanks ;-[
Great!,I like the top one Iniquity.
This project is really taking off now.:)
thanks) i like top one too, but i wanna create a one without any effects on screenshot)

Watch in 1080~ and I need to fix Sony Vegas a bit, so it'll stop butchering my video quality.
EDIT: Well at least I found out why I crash so much, my save file went from 11mb to 99mb. I guess I shouldn't save too often =p

Very nice Iniquity, I like them. :)
some more screens showing my progress, im finished with adding bump maps/specular capability on all exterior meshes, and now im experimenting with new normal maps for landtextures, giving them much more depth, and details, so
now the landscape will look less dull and flat :)
^ Damn, wow, that looks awesome...!
Eloth, I know lauditory adjectives are being somewhat overused in this thread, but still: AWESOMEZ CAEK!!1!
Have you considered using parralax mapping for the ground textures? it makes the outlines more bumby like this: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/16919/
I have tried to get parallax working on ground textures, i think its not
supported for land textures, only works on meshes, but i have
to investigate more.
Skyrim use meshes for roads, and ground in and around cities, thats
why this mod you posted about can do it.
Ah, good point. MAybe later we could make morrowind style road-meshes...
I really love those rock textures I even set one of the screens (third one down) as my new desktop background. :)
Im really sorry, but is it 1280 or i have mistake? )
yeah it can cast shadows on water, its just that my landscape lod screws up the water :(
Iniquity: Yeah, nothing wrong with that. I honestly don't get these 1080p resolutions. They don't look much better at all than 720p, yet the performance cost is huge. I myself use 1280x 720, in fact my monitor doesn't even support higher than 1366x 768.

Edit: Eloth answered the question. :)
That question was because of wallpapers)
Lookin good so far, Bethesda will be sorry for saying this project is against their terms, they'll really regret it, I just know.
Only thing I have to say is I feel really sorry for people who bought Skyrim for the ps3/360.
Muhahahaha, their own stupid fault for believing in an inferior gaming system.
Indeed, I will never understand those people....
Who knows, if we make it good enough perhaps Bethesda will come crawling on their hands and knees, and begging us to let them use it as DLC. Well at least I can hope.... :)

new screens showing parallax mapping on imperial forts, since parallax only work with ENB its probably be the best
to include parallaxed meshes as an addon.
*thumbs up* looks good like always Eloth!
Maybe I should reconsider getting enb. :)

which graphics card are you using? and did you try to tweak the setgamma command in console? eg. setgamma 1.5
is my setting.

How is it that my HD4600 1GB_DDR3 graphics card running at 750Mhz,with Skyrim set to ultra with full AA etc never even struggles.?
Cards with numbers like 6970 seem to be inferior to the older cards.?
I have an HD6450 that is ok too.
Has anybody heard from eloth recently?

Eloth, where are you!?!
I'm just dying for some new screenshots..... or even a beta release of the fixed meshes. :)

sorry, have been busy moving, so have been without internet for a while, but here is a new update:
Have converted all exterior lamps/lights, banners, signs, all of them is animated, like lanterns and banners
swaying in the wind.
Also have converted all exterior animated activators(lava sparks, geysirs, chimney smoke, etc), and as
a bonus i have animated all boats to rock on the water, so now it looks a bit more realistic, the effect
is subtle, and i have changed the mushroom trees to have animated tentacles instead of the ugly
moss. Other than that im slowly changing to morrowind textures, takes a long
time to work with the original 64x64 and 128x128 textures and making them look good at 1024x1024 :P
Telvanni is getting its morrowind look back:
Animated banners and lamps:
Animated signs:
Animated mushroomtree tentacles:
Animated lava sparks and steam:
Showing off modernized morrowind style textures:
Deep 3d effect:
A random location in the grazelands:
Oh!) this textures look really cool!
ps in Dawnguard lava is so pretty))) maybe we could use it
