Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
[EDIT] This plugin is no longer required as it has been replaced within our lastest master.
As of 9/6/2012 All doors sould be done!!! I know that i have made some errors so please let me know. Some common errors could be names missing, map markers missing, doors missing, or doors that lead to blackness
IMPORTANT NOTE: if you are updating your door.esp on or after 8/16/12 you must delete door.esp and replace it with Doors.esp

Cheers sorrow!,you and alex are really working overtime on this.Thanks!.
Its cool) You are cool)
Very nice.
Like I said earlier, I would be happy to do a few doors, provided you guys can show me the way around the disappearing interior bug. But until then there is not much I can do. Once I get the answer to that, I guess I'll try out Hla Oad (assuming you haven't started that one yet).
Edit:
I just tried out that .esp ingame and it is AWESOME!!! Everything is so much more playable, and I can't wait to enjoy even more of Morrowind in Skyrim.
I know i was getting so excited as i was doing it if you have skype pm me your user name and ill teach you how over skype I really want to get 100% places working!!
So, no chance of Steam chat, or should I just give up and go get a Skype.
Also, I decided to try my hand at giving Morrowind creatures Skyrim equivalent races, so you will finally have something to fight.
I thought I should let everyone know, and I'll see how it turns out.
Edit: Hmm. They don't seem to want to appear ingame. I've been using the rats in Balmora from the Fighters' Guild quest as my main test subject, and they appear in the CK, but when I go there with a new or old save they don't show up. Would there be any steps besides simply changing the race?
Edit 2: Anyone know why this would be? Those rats are not on leveled lists, so they should be there. Also all the creatures that are on leveled lists don't show up either. I'm betting I just missed some important step, but I don't have any idea what it is. Any advice you could give would be much appreciated.
I am not sure if the CK has it,but I think that a "persistant reference" flag has to be set,?,it has it in the CS.
I missed it on some creatures in the CS and they did not appear,is the CK the same.?
Also you need the nifs & texture files for the rats.?
Thanks Ironman, I'll check right away to see if it works.
Also, sorry that I can't help you with your problem with the wander packages, but I'm still learning the CK, and haven't touched the CS. I hope someone else has the answer you are looking for.
Edit: Sorry Ironman, there was no such flag.
The models should have the same paths as default Skyrim, because they are Skyrim races, so they wouldn't need to be adjusted would they?
Shadow your getting me all excited!!
Shadow, what is puzzling me is that you can see them ok in the CK,but not in game.?
Not being visible in game usually means that there is an incorrect ID on them,or they are missing nifs and/or textures,or a condition variable is not working etc.
And I thought that the CS was bad, sounds like the CK is worse.
I will try to get the same rats into the game later, maybe we might see something that needs doing if we both try it.
Are you just using the rats straight from the morrowind:sk.esm.?
Doors don't have animations at all, as far as I know. That means you can't even open doors/gates within the same cell.
Ahh! thanks Clint, that would explain why Shadow is not seeing the rats, because in the CK he could put them into an interior, but can`t open the doors to the storage room and house in game so no rats.
But if he put them outside in the balmora cell then I don`t know.
But the esp by alex and sorrow [if loaded] should give access through doors in Balmora.?
Actually, I was using the 3 in the storage room (room with the baskets of pillows) above the house (and the doors.esp), so I was in the correct area. I also checked in the house and use tcl to go through that door, but there was no rat there either.
Yep Ironman, that particular one is 0rat and I simply loaded up Morrowind_sk.esm along with Skyrim.esm. Then I changed the race, voicetype, and set the auto-calc stats flag. Then saved as a .esp. Do you want to try that and see if you can figure it out?
rather try to make a duplicate of the skyrim rat ID, and rename it to 0ratMorrowind, and then just search and replace
0rat to 0ratmorrowind
Good idea Eloth! I've never done that before, but I'll see if I can figure that out.
Of course then any other Morrowind properties would be lost, but I guess this is only really temporary, as we will probably want to convert the Morrowind creatures over later anyway.
One problem at this time is that all morrowind NPC`s are listed in the Beasts section along with the beasts.
They should be in the NPC section.
The converter put them all into one section for some reason.
if they did maybe they should be added to the npc conversion thread?
I mean`t that morrowind NPC`s are listed in the Creatures section in the CK,that could mess up a lot of esps that are made with the current master installed.?
We need to figure out how to move the NPC`s out of the Creatures section in the CK and then update the master again.?
well we are doing that right now there are teams that reselect the correct race for every npc ive already finished malewoodelves andAlexanderb is done with high elf females
Ahh! sorry sorrow,I understand now, will there be an esp with all of the NPC data so it can be merged with the master later.?
idk i was trying to look into it but wrye bash wont boot up on my computer so im going to try my hand at TESsnip to try abd combine the esp unless anyone has some other ideas??
If you already have an esp I could merge it into the master using VC if it is ready for that.?
See my SkyWind Master Update thread.
I did but i was kinda of unclear ill post my question there!

Alright today im going put out a new version of my mod and I tinkered with the Rats and I’ve got them working!! Also I talked to RammS and with the information Alexanderb and I are trying to fix interior doors so they also work!
Awesome! (I use that word too much) :) I've been wanting interior doors as well.
So you mean you got the rats to use the Skyrim race? I used the search and replace function, but I wasn't happy with the result. Did you use that, or did you manually change the race settings and have them appear ingame?
Also, do they show up in leveled lists?

Alright so I wasted all day today trying to give interior door animations and I failed so to make up for my failure along with my Door update (which puts doors in Seyda Need, Ahemmusa Camp, and a few dungeons) I am releasing my first version of map Markers which has the towns I’ve done along with 15 or 20 places from the top of the list!!!

Damn, that feel. Nothing feels more great than seeing that!
Also, for some reason in Morrowind my BGM doesn't player, is there a way to fix this, or is it something super complex? I'm learning how to use the CK in hopes to help out =|
does BGM mean background music??
does BGM mean background music??
Yes, background music. I figured there would be a command to start it since there is a command to stop the battle music("removemusic MUScombatcivilwar") I can't seem to find out the command, and checked pretty much everywhere.
If you don`t want music,go to options audio in the main options menu and move the music slider to the left.
It is not a command,it is an option iin the main game startup screen.

That's the thing, I do want music lol. When I'm in Skyrim I hear the music just fine, but when I go to Morrowind/Cyrodiil I hear no music at all. I posted the command to stop the battle music as an example that you can control the music via console.
It is wierd, you hear BGM in the Skyrim world, but not in Morrowind.have you got the music files installed in your sound or music folders for the morrowind_sk mod.
Not sure where they are but will check.

Alexanderb released a fix for this problem in his skywind beatification mod version 2 just enable his esp and listen to the music and enjoy the prettier world! ( I am not sure if he told anyone that this mod fixes that problem but it does)

Is it possible to play Morrowind music in Morrowind, Oblivion music in Cyrodiil and Skyrim music in Skyrim?
I heard that Skyrim has a new "audio engine" so I'm wondering if it's possible?
Edit: combat music too if it's possible.

Hm, I just reinstalled all of that to make sure. But yes, I do have that mod, and yes, it's ticked. The music is in the Skyrim folder -> data -> music I'm not 100% sure if his .esp is doing anything to my game, since i can't notice a difference when i enable or disable it.

Odd, the Door.esp, MapMarkers.esp, Obliviskyrim - Door Links.esp all work just fine. But Skywind_Beautification.esp doesn't seem to work. I don't have any mods anymore that affect the music, I used to have the two mods below, but I've fully uninstalled them. I've also made sure the music files are in the correct location.

EDIT: I fixed it. I changed Skywind_Beautification.esp to Skywind_Beautification.esm. I hear music, but nothing else seems to have changed. I don't know what other changes are supposed to be made by Skywind Beautification.
EDIT again =p: Well, sometimes it takes around 20 seconds for the song to begin playing when I start up in Morrowind, and after one track is done playing, the music just stops, and doesn't play the next track.
I was looking through the dark creations forums and found these map markers http://www.darkcreations.org/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=2093
Will yous be making custom map markers like these in skywind?
Mehh: Try disabling Obliviskyrim, that may be the problem. Also, that .esp adds music only outdoors in Morrowind, as well as grass.
Andynev1: We should for at least some of them. Perhaps later on in the project if someone wants to do some custom ones.
I have not been using custom map markers but those look great so I think i might start! where is dark creations did you find those?

I just renamed it back to .esp, and disabled Obliviskyrim - Door Links.esp and Oblivion_sk.esm. Now I no longer hear any music, and I don't think the grass ever showed up for me, unless I didn't manage to go in any areas where it was added.
Sorry Mehh,I should read posts longer.
But like sorrow1 stated it is solved by the beatification mod version 2 mod.

Ugh, I reinstalled Skyrim, copied the Skywind instruction thread word by word, and I still can't get the grass to load, or the music. The music still only plays when I make the Skywind_Beautification an esm, but if I do that I only get music, no grass. I'm kinda stumped lol
Nice Iniquity. I'm kind of skeptical, but if these works I will be very happy.

Seyda Neen Works
