Ok looks like we are going to have a poll, Would you rather have the legs seperate from chest, or with the armor in skywind. Example for seperate from chest: You can equip the orcish Chest, And equip bonemold Leggings. Example For With the armor: Equipping the orchish chest also equips the orcish legging and they are now 1 item instead of 2.

I can still seperate the pauldrons from the armor if you choose option 2, But still it will mean that you will not have as much of a customization as you would like. I guess for voting Just Say post the #1 for seperate and post #2 for together.

Poll:
Legs seperate from chest, or combined with chest?
Legs separate from chest
83.3% (25 votes)
Legs combined with chest
16.7% (5 votes)

1 if possible and not too

1 if possible and not too many work.

2 if it just doesn't look right after trying to scale the size of the armor up.

Well, my reply certainly doesn't seem to helpfull now that I think about it

1  I agree with iniquity,

1  I agree with iniquity, this is Morrowind.  In fact I don't care if there is clipping or not.  I hate the Skyrim system of armor, so please don't vote for number 2.

Well, to be honest, clipping

Well, to be honest, clipping really bugs me so I'll take whatever side that has the least clipping. I just get frustrated a bit when I see it and certainly avoid any kind of equipment that clips. Guess I'm just weird

Well I don't like it.

Well I don't like it.  Especially that dang Steel Armor that always clips either my head or shoulders (in Skyrim).

But I'd rather have scaled armor and minor clipping than combined curaiss/greaves.  Scaling the armors should work in theory, no?  Even if it does look a little big.

Not entirely shadow. I am

Not entirely shadow. I am using Vertex scaling, which is different from regular scaling, what i did was instead of making it taller, it makes it more bulky going forwards and backwards, therefor it wont look like ur bigger, maybe just a little bit fatter?

So running around without greaves is weird but without underwear not

because the players legs are

because the players legs are too big for the armor, i think i am going to use pants (like morroblivion ones, they are going to be smaller than any other type of armor) to replace the legs on the chestpiece so that you have pants equipped when u take off your greaves.
it will stop it from showing the legs and will have something there so that it doesnt feel wrong.

also i am thinking about

also i am thinking about making duelwielding spells/weapons ill legal in skywind, because if you think about it, not only will it be VERY overpowered, it will also take away from the feel of the orginal game.

NO!  Dual-wielding is one of

NO!  Dual-wielding is one of my favorite parts in Skyrim.  In my opinion we should NEVER take anything away, only add.  To combat the overpoweredness of dual-wielding just increase the level of some of the creatures or something similar.

Once again I bring up this point.  The player can always choose to not dual-wield if they want, but it becomes much more difficult for someone who does want to duel-wield to do it if the ability is taken away.  If you really want to do it, make it a plugin, not as something to be merged into the masterfile.

It will have to be merged

It will have to be merged eventually, unless we want to reach the 200 or so limit of .esp files.  We have been in the business of merging since Morroblivion, and there is no reason to stop now.

So yeah, if you decide to make a mod that removes dual-wielding in Morrowind, just make sure it is kept as a separate .esp and isn't merged.

Whoa, I want the freedom

Whoa, I want the freedom Skyrim offers, so I vote we keep dual wielding in! Unless we want a poll for this too

Alex my friend, keep up the good work! Wish I could help, but RL kicking my butt here really bad lately

somewhat off topic

somewhat off topic question... Are pauldrons separated into right/left like they were in Morrowind? I always liked equipping different types of pauldrons.

Also I vote 1, more customisation is always better!

I voted 1, but if this is

I voted 1, but if this is really tough and taking too long, maybe you could come back to this later and focus on other important stuff for now?

I go with 1 if possible and

I go with 1 if possible and not too difficult. If a clean and simple workaround can't be found then I'm fine with 2

Yes it is possible to

Yes it is possible to seperate them, Its just that when i do for some reason it breaks it and crashes my game and CK, and not only that it also corrupts my esp i made. So i choose just to go with the easier way and have it as pauldrons lol

So you made converted those

So you made converted those sets of armor.  I need to thank you properly Gothryd because I couldn't remember who made them.

That set of converted armor didn't include clothes so they (along with many other sets of armor) still need to be converted.  Just make sure when you convert them you use Qwertyasdfgh's clothes galore mod. It is awesome!

Thank you Here's a link to

Thank you Here's a link to the armors, the pass is morro:

http://www.sendspace.com/file/zbp0n6

I was converting these sets without fully functional plugin for exporting from 3ds max, so I wasn't able to convert clothes because of some errors with textures. I'll look at Andoran converter tomorrow, hopefully it will allow to make the conversion easier.

I have just registered here

I have just registered here to say thanks for the conversions from Oblivion to Skyrim, they look awesome in the new engine and they only need some fixes in the arms and they will look perfect, Oblivion armors are more nice than Skyrim armors, i hope you figure how to fix those arms. Thanks!!

I'm doing some conversions, oblivion elven weapons full set and a few more, craftables in any forge:
