I was modding cyrodil rebuild to 1. Translate to enlish and 2. Fix bugs. Now I was just saving when my computer froze. I thought it was just the cs not responding so I did Ctrl alt delete. Then I got a blue screen for the first time ever. This never ever happened on my old crap computer so why is it happening here? This computer is brand new. Anyways I am going to stop modding for a while because of this.

heres something you may find useful

Blue Screens Happen

Even though pretty rare on Windows 7, Blue Screens Still happen.

I know, they happen to me from time to time. I've had a couple of Blue Screens when I was not doing anything at all, nothing, I was sitting back doing something else. It's the bakground stuff that Widows does that is the most likely culprit.

I would certainly not stop modding because of it.

Buggy

The CS is Buggy. Everything Bethesda does is Buggy. That's why there is an Unofficial Oblivion Patch, and a Morrowind Patches Project...

Save, save, save.

If you make a script, save. If you apply it to something, save. If you move some things around, save. Save before you do anything new, or different, or at all...

Save, save, save.

Well

I did save. I save whenever I make any change. What happened was the esp got corrupted. Since there was a blue screen as I was saving something obviously went wrong.
