[Rel] Mod Conversion: Tel Nechim

So with all the crazyness in this world right now, I've had some time to check out Morroblivion again, and the work still being done on it is awesome! I kind of stopped modding a few years ago due to work and time constraints, but now I decided to check out my old modding files again.

What I found were two mods I had converted and practically completed debugging and even had added some extras.
I playtested them the past few days and they can be completed and don't really seem to have any bugs, though I made a few adjustments.
I won't really have time maintaining them longterm, but I decided to release them to the community anyways, as they seem to work so well. However any bugs found in the next week or so, I can probably fix.

The first one is Tel Nechim by Antiscamp. You can check out pics and the description at its Nexus Page.
There's also a nice showacase on Youtube

I left it in the Morroblivion worldspace and added new textures for the ingame books and some of the NPCs have schedules. To go there, simply talk to the ferryman in Sadrith Mora.

All credits go to Antiscamp who did a wonderful job at creating these islands and quests.

Excellent job! The more

Excellent job! The more content for Morroblivion the better, and the mod looks good.

So I assume this is based on the original version which conflicts with Tamriel Rebuilt. I don't think too many people would be using the converted Tamriel Rebuilt anyway because based on the tutorial here:

https://morroblivion.com/forums/morroblivion-development/tut...

It looks like a very involved process and a lot of troubleshooting to get working, also there appears to be a lot of bugs even after conversion so not to many people would be using the converted Tamriel Rebuilt, so shouldn't be a problem.

Did you use a similar process to convert Tel Nechim for Morroblivion but doing the unique debugging appropriate for this mod.

Thanks! For the conversion I

Thanks! For the conversion I used the  Tamriel Rebuilt compatible version of Tel Nechim, so it should even work with it.

I used the esp converter which you can find here. If I remember correctly my process involved changing a few things in the original mods so the converter converted everything, cleaning the mod similar to this with Tes4Edit and then just redoing all the dialogue conditions and scripts plus some polishing and in case of Tel Nechim creating a few book textures.

Thanks for sharing these

Thanks for sharing these conversions with the community!  Does anyone know if Wyrmhaven has ever been converted?  https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/42933

Funny you should say that, I

Funny you should say that, I actually dug up my old converted files for Wyrmhaven and am currently making all the quests work. Performance in the city isn't great though, even with Pyffied meshes. Still gonna finish it though, cause I forgot how much fun this was. Thanks corona lol.

Question 1: Would it be safe

Question 1: Would it be safe do you think to Merge your two mods Tel Nechim & Dulsya Isle together to save plugin slots..... or even Merge all 3; your upcoming Wyrmhaven mod with Tel Nechim & Dulsya Isle.

Question 2: Would these conversion mods that you created be compatible with the Morroblivion Improvement Project....

https://morroblivion.com/forums/morroblivion-mod-releases/mi...

........or would some patches be required.

Yes on both questions. Both

Yes on both questions. Both mods should be compatible with damn near anything, as they don't touch anything in Morrowind, Dulsya isles takes place even in its own worldspace entirely except for one NPC who brings you there.
