Hi All,
I read that the ESP convertor has troouble with clothing in Vvardenfell because the body meshes in Oblivion are completely different, hence we have NPCs with no arms or not wearing pants, etc. Is there away around this? I'm willing to have a go if someone can point me in the right direction.

Replace?

Because the bodies are different in morrowind, clothing was made in parts, ie shirt was torso, sleeve was upperarm, etc etc. Oblivion uses a single mesh, so would it work? suppose theres no harm in trying.

Any other ideas?

jus tested Oblivion clothing and it seems to work.

Is this a current project or would it be worth pursing?

you mean the gui or the balmora expansion

if you mean the gui it is a program made by savant.
If you mean the Balmora expansion it is a morrowind mod
or the clothing

Fixing clothing in morroblivion

I have over 250 mods for morrowind and about that again for oblivion (althoough I admit, FCOM is still a mystry to me!) . My focus here is to fix the missing limbs on NPCS in Morroblivion.

I posted to David Wolf adn will wait to see what says.

I'm currentyl trying to import BE 1.4 via the ESP converter. Just worried about DHfurn mod.
Cheers

I have the same problem with

I have the same problem with missing arms on certain ranks of imperial armor. I've added something to the converter that replaced some clothing with oblivion clothes, where possible. But someone who's mid rank imperial army, there simply is no replacement. Well perhaps the best thing to do is go through and manually swap it out. But I'd rather expand instead of retract. Perhaps we should make mod that gives ranked armors to the imperials in both oblivion and morrowind....if only I had more time.

Old Thread

Just out of curiosity, why are you responding to a question that was asked a year and a half ago?

The link you provided is dead.

Please take a look at our current threads to see what is happening now.

The current project has solved these issues.
