Grass = Map of current province.
After installing Morroblivion, my video options were reverted to default. Before playing i changed them to what i believe i had them to before i installed Morrobilion. When i entered the game all exterior grass textures in both Cyrodill and Morrowind were bugged. When i'm in Cyrodill i have the same image of a part of the map of Cyrodill printed every square meter or so anywhere grass/mud should be.
I have the same in Morrowind. All grass/mud textures seem to use the image of what looks like a corner of a picture of a map of Morrowind on roughly every square meter of ground.
I tried loading oblivion back up without the morroblivion mods activated, loaded a save game from before i installed and i still had the problems. I 've also tried fiddling with some of my video options to see if it was to do with that, but had no effect.

Did you double check by recreating / re-converting MW?
Considered deleting anything stored in any .\morro subdirs?
Havent touched any of the game files. Only thing i've done is followed instructions and ran the ESP_Conv.exe then installed the mod that adds the boat.
Will have to explain all this to me as if i'm 5 years old im afraid. Don't have a clue about all this game file editing jibber jabber. Only worked out how to get mods on oblivion a few days ago >.<
*** Change your explorer display to D:\Oblivion\Data or whererever Oblivion is installed (My be "C:\Program Files\Bethesda\and so on\Data.
*** Use Ctrl-F or any way to start the windows file search in explorer down this directory
*** Search for the string "morro"
*** Delete all files and subdirectories to these dirs
*** Than try to restart the converter. You *must* read the Readme of the converter to understand what you are doing. Otherwise chances are you'll get your system screwed up (at least your oblivion install).

Deleted all 4077 files starting with "morro" from my data folder. Load oblivion back up w/o any mods and still have the same problem. I'm guessing one of the texture files has bugged during the conversion for me.
Anyone know how to reinstall oblivion without deleting your character?
just copy the save file some where else and after you reinstall oblivion place it back into the folder that should do it for ya
Mostly the save files reside in MyFiles\MyGames\Oblivion and won't be deleted by deinstallation.
