Even without any Morroblivion mods activated, every single custom Morroblivion item which is not part of Vanilla Oblivion or a mod uses an ax icon for the item when it is in an inventory list.
Why would this happen and how can I fix it?
Hmm ... could be a bug with the converter ... maybe you should try to find this icon in the data directory and remove it.
Where do you get your icons? I don't really understand the process. It looks like Morrowind uses .tga files for icons. Looking in my Oblivion directories, it looks like there really aren't any Morroblivion .dds icon files. The locations the CS points to for the icons for specific icons are empty. I am surprised I am getting this ax instead of a blank field.
Where was I supposed to get icons? Was the converter supposed to make them? Was I supposed to download them from someplace?
Textures\Menus\Icons\Armor\morro\a\TXUAdamantiumUBoots.dds
Another friend is experiencing the same problem. I am guessing your conversion did not finish properly.
Try downloading the OMOD and see if you can grab the textures from there rather than keep trying to run the conversion over and over again.
I have posted all the Morroblivion Icons to RapidShare.
This is only a stopgap until something more permanent can be found.
If you need these and the link has expired after a while, just send me a note and I will repost them.

I have the same problem, but i fix it
Have you got any custom .bsa in your espconverter ini file? i did a custom .bsa, but i put ALL of my textures, meshes, icons, etc. there so i have agoted the max space can be used in a single bsa.
So i decide to partiocionaty the bsa (actually i have "Morrowind - textures 1; Morrowind - Textures 2; Morrowind - Meshes and Morrowind - Misc")
Try to do it, if you can understand me, of course.
Sorry i dont know very well english so i post the mensaje better than i can :S
