Cannot download Morroblivion v054.7z from either location - is there another way, torrent perhaps?
I have spent many hours trying to download Morroblivion v054.7z the 2.5 gig file. Everytime, (5 times now) I get between 1.5 gigs to 2 gigs downloaded and then I get an error saying, " The file cannot be saved because Firefox cannot read from the source"
This is Very frustrating. I personaly dont think Google Docs was a wise idea to use for hosting this large file.
Is there a torrent or some other alternate download location as both of the Google docs links are problematic?
There is not a torrent download,but have you tried using IE,?,I know firefox is a good browser but it is giving you a firefox error message,so in this case IE might get you the whole download.
I havent tried IE but I will. Firefox message aside.. the browser used should not make a difference. i download 8 to 10 gig files all the time and Never have any issues. The error says it's a source file problem. To me this says Google Docs are screwing up. I will however try IE. If IE downloads the file with no problem, and most people use Firefox, the devs here are going to have to figure out a way around this problem.

Before you go,another tip on using google docs,try the file menu/release info choice and try right button/saveAS on the file.
Well IE did work the first time. This is very odd. I can see no good reason why IE would work instead of firefox. Well, I say firefox.. It's Seamonkey actually, but it uses the same Firefox engine. Just didn't say Seamonkey at first because lots of folks would not know what I was talking about but it's the exact same.
Thanks. Hopefully now I can start the long process of getting this thing set up and play Morrowind like I've wanted to since we first started dreaming about MW on the Oblivion engine. I think this project is great. Too many people pass up Morrowind because of it's outdated graphics and style and they miss out on what a great epic game it is.
I do not know why but I can''t even start downloading the file. when I attempt to start, the page just refreshes and nothing happens. would someone please tell me if I can by pass google's anti virus scans, or if the file has been uploaded somewere else?

Go to the above link,then use the "file" pulldown menu [top left],then use the "view revisions" choice and try downloading it from the box that should appear.

Hey i have the same problem that he had, at first it said could not read source text, and then i tried it on IE and when i finally got it downloaded it said the archive was corrup and the whole thing was empty, please help:(
I just downloaded it in 10mins and it unzips fine.
we are at v055 now btw.
