Hi! Sorry if I don't know something about the mod it's just that I am new here...Well, It may be to early to do it, but I believe it makes sense....
I thought about how I can help in the development of Morroblivion and MOTF and got to a conclusion that there is no voiced chat..
One of many things that I liked in Oblivion better than in Morrowind is that Oblivion looks more alive than Morrowind because everyone is talking in the cities and you don't need to read this melancholic chat text... So I thought about starting to voice the general and the main quest chat, and hopefully get our hands to the rest of the game's chat.. Well I can help with voice recording itself, maybe some technical stuff like converting the files and organising the material.. But I need more people beside me for it to come true, so I would be glad to hear comments about it...

Morroblivion/MOTF Voice

There are about 24000 lines of dialogue in Morrowind. That will be one large effort to get all of them voiced.
I can do some voicing...
well if you're REALLY going to voice act, remember what the races sounded like in MW lol...in wanna hear some raspy dunmer
Hi! Sorry for not replying.. I had some Internet problems... I am aware of the size of our work and that's why we gonna need alot of work and people who will be able to participate... And yeah, a balmora guard who has my voice can be very funny lol
But we could try to find people with similar voice, or at least a voice that could somehow fit the characters, and also use voice modifying software... Gonna be hard work but worth a try if we could get more people....
.
I would love to help out with the voice acting. I'm pretty good with impersonating accents, but my voice is a bit strange
.
I haven't tried the mod out yet, but I've seen some videos on Youtube. I'm pretty excited about this. I've always wanted to visit Balmora in the Oblivion engine. For some reason, that's my favourite town.
Shall I pm someone with a sample of my voice?
Hey, i would be interested in helping, i havnt installed the mod as of yet but im fully awaire of what Vardenfell looks like so no real need as of yet, i spent a stupid ammount of time exploring everywhere on the map as im sad, and its expansions so have a good idea of the main quest and side quest dialogue not to mention the random and insignificant things that happen though i obviously cant rememeber everything in that game lol theres way too much, However ive always wondered what Morrowind would be like if all the Dialogue was voiced and thats why i am more then willing to help. At the moment i have no idea what i would voice, but i am more then willing to help.
I'm guessing youll give most of the perspective voice actors a couple of lines for each race and/or main characters from morrowind and make a decision that way whom would be best for certain parts.
Anyway looking forward to hearing back,
Cheers,
Okay, Good to hear I already made myself some crew... But to do real voicing, we will be needing more people.. So, I will try to
find a dialogue from morrowind and write it down in this thread soon so you will be able to do the voicing and send me the mp3... Then we will se what can be done..
new to the site but... seems to me if anyones has the morrowind GOY game quide they can use its mission listing to walk-through the game section by section and make listings of dialogue, and since it'd take a while you could break down the missions in groups that each person could cover a set o missions, or dialoge varying on events, location, npc and reaction based dialogue. once you've got your game script, and by then hopefully some voice actors might not take as long to throw it together. bty i pulled the voice cast for original game, maybe we could track and email a few of these guys to see if they would be willing to help, never known till you try, then again they got paid...
Jeff Baker/Jonathan Bryce /Lynda Carter /Linda Canyon /David DeBoy /Shari Elliker /Catherine Flye /Cami St. Germain /Gayle Jessup /Wes Johnson /Melissa Leebaert /Michael Mack /Elisabeth Noone /Dude Walker
I would like to help also, but as of right now... I can't. I just got a job at Winn Dixie... so I can make enough money to buy a computer, and then I can help. I could probably do a high elf... Then again, my voice has gotten deeper lately. Until then though, seeya.
Vance you will do an excellent Altmer
We should have a Voice Actors Recruitment Page! Does anyone know a good website to upload MP3 demos? Something simple, to upload samples of the voices...
As for me, I can do also Altmer voices, soft ones... and Bretons as well. I can do audio edition (cleansing, normalization, equalization) since I know how to use Adobe Audition and Soundbooth. Also got a little experience from the F3 mod I was working on!
Well this sounds great to me, what about you?
