[RELZ] Morroblivion Complete Installation v058

I am using the complete install. and following the Complete Installation Instructions, but double-checking that these are the current files before I start spending time changing anything.
When I try to download the 2.5GB file, it crashes the browser.  I tried two different browsers with addons turned off (I'm a web designer so am familiar with this). If that link is the one to use then I'll just keep trying.

How much memory does your PC have?  What OS are you running?  Do you have enough free space on your hard drive or in your download location?

It could be that 2.5GB is too big of a file for your computer to keep in the temp files while it is downloading, and it crashes when you run out of RAM / swap file space etc. 

Otherwise, I would try to use Google Chrome or something; it has good tools for resuming downloads that are built in.

Whenever I try to get the Morroblivion v053.7z I get this message after a few seconds of downloading "Morroblivion v53.7z.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read. Try again later, or contact the server administrator."

Both the main and Alternate link give me this message and I've tried everyday this week in case it was just getting updated or whatever. Is there another place I can get this file? I'd even be willing to have it transferred to me via Skype.

That is a common error with Firefox, or at least it used to be.

Try a different browser or upgrading to the most recent version of FireFox.  If you can't do that, there are some potential fixes listed here (I just googled for "could not be saved, because the source file could not be read. Try again later, or contact the server administrator"

I followed both pages directions, and even downloaded Chrome JUST to download this file and recived the same message... is there anyway I could get you to torrent it somewhere?

Just tried that too and I'm still getting the same error... Starting to feel like I'm not allowed to have the mod lolz

I know this doesn't really help anyone in getting the file, but I had no problem downloading the 2.5gb file using Firefox last week. At the very least, this proves that it's still possible.

It's very possible.  Judging by the number of complaints vs. number of downloads, about 99% of the people who try to download the file succeed. 

When I try to play Morroblivion I get yellow exclamation marks EVERYWHERE. I have the load order correct and I have Eloth's Misc. Items and Ingredients but my problem isn't the items, it's the FLOOR. When I start up in the ship, every NPC falls, including me, and teleport to the top just to fall some more. How do I fix this? Please help .

Nevermind, I fixed it.

google drive link is not working. im logged into google and have google drive set up, and the download link is even working. when i hit download anyway the zip pops up in chrome but it wont download anything. it stays at 0% and switches between 10 and 13 hrs left. i had it sitting there for a couple of hours and still 0. I also retried the download logged in to 2 different accounts, and logged out. its not recieving any data. what do?

I try and unzip the one big file, and it says it isnt an archive. I've tried again and again, but it just wont work. Ive done everything else but unziping the one big file. Can you help me?

Huh, well it's cool that BOSS has finally acknowledged our mod!  IIRC, there are other reasons why Morrowind_ob.esm needs to be loaded directly after Oblivion.esm, but I forget what they were.  Dave B would know though.

Haha that is pretty funny, still good that BOSS recognises it now.

BOSS has the same warning for several other mods that add new worldspaces

So I just started this, and Jiub is missing his lower half. there's obviously a .nif missing but which one? and how? I was using HGEC or wahtever for body mods.

actually everyone is missing pants apparently and there's some things missing, they show up as yellow stars, and some missing textures. I thought I followed it by the book too :\

@Gvaz there are definately nifs missing there. Did you install the big all-in-one download?

Yuuuup. Used wyre bash to install it too. Gonna recopy over everything manually, because it crashed just as I was looking at the guard house as soon as I got off the boat.

Well make sure it's a fresh, clean install of Oblivion, also you don't need Bash for it. Just extract the big 2.5 gb file into your Data folder in the Oblivion Directory and then install the master file and then make sure that the Morrowind_ob file is activated and loaded straight after Oblivion.esm. Also, make sure you have Shivering Isles installed as you need the textures from it otherwise you'll get frequent purple patches. You should be good to go then.

Oh believe me it's fresh, I redownloaded through steam only to realize I had residual Nehrim stuff in there, so I deleted the whole thing and started again. I have the goty version of Morrowind and Oblivion, so it's not an issue with that. Ran the load order through boss a few times...

Mmm. That is very wierd. Well just try the fresh install again and see what happens, it should be working for you though.

Well I don't have the issue with it not working though as soon as I get off the boat everything is blue?? haha

That picture looks like you have not installed the HGEC clothing replacer properly...

Now I just get 

Been trying to get this to work, double checked load order, tried manually reinstalling over with everything, nothing. I can't get any better than this on either oblivion or morrowind. They load, but I can never see anything!
I even tried turning the brightness up, no dice. I'd reinstall but I'm kind of at the point now where I don't care anymore and I'd rather go play newvegas because that works.

it also crashes on exit every time, but I expect that out of oblivion

Gvaz, are you playing on Win7?

If yes, you should try to off in settings HDR and Bloom

Win7 64 bit, all the latest patches, all the latest driver updates, yada yada

can i get a mediafire download link for the 2.6gb file coz my bandwith sux and i cant download more than 20 mbs before it bolts out.

DarkDemonSider, I'm sorry your "bandwith sux".  20 mb is really small though - mediafire would not help.  I would ask a friend to download it for you and then copy it to a DVD or something.

Gvaz, I'm sorry, but this grey screen issue sounds like a problem with your computer / video card / oblivion installation, and not with Morroblivion.  Since you had Nehrim installed and have since removed it and reinstalled and everything, you probably don't want to do this again, but I would say, reinstall and make SURE you clean things up before you reinstall: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Oblivion_reinstall_procedure

Before you do that though, you might want to try backing up and then deleting your Oblivion.ini file in C:\Users\Your Name\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\

This will force Oblivion to generate a new INI file, and reset your graphics settings.  Make sure to back up your old file just in case.

links are broken, both just keep taking me to the google drive homepage, tried both links multiple times :/

Copy and paste from my earlier post in this thread:

Both links work fine for me when either: 1) I log into a google account that already has google drive/docs set up or 2) I am not logged in to any google account

However, when I log into a google account where I have never set up google drive/docs and click on the links, then I get the weird re-direct.  BUT as soon as I clicked "Get started with 5gb free" - one click, that's it - the links would work again.

So your call, you can either turn on google docs for your account (1 click) or you can log out of your google account.  Once you do that, go back and click one of the links again and it will work fine.

I'm trying to download the 2.5gb file. Get to the google docs screen where it says it can't scan it and I click download anyway and nothing happens, it seems like it just refreshes the screen. I've also tried the alternate dload thing and ran into the same thing, and tried both IE and chrome. Any help is appreciated.

You can try:

• signing out of your google account, or signing in
• clearing your browser's cookies / history / cache / temporary interenet files, then closing and reopening the browser
• downloading with another browser
• setting your time zone and time of day on your computer's clock to where you are now (thread here)

I've got all the files downloaded, I've installed Wrye Bash, I'm running on 32-bit windows 7 with all the necessary pre-reqs to be able to run this, my problem is that I can't figure out how to install the bloody thing. I've tried installing it with Bash, but there's no Bash Installer folder in there. I've tried manually installing it, but it tells me that my version isn't up to date when it is, I don't know what else I have to do. I'm vaguely computer saavy, I can figure m way out of something usually by googling kn own topics and finding a usable solution. But this, I don't know what to do. If one of y'all could help me please I'd be very grateful. My main problem is when I start the obseloader.exe, it tells me that the version of Oblivion I'm using is a beta patch 1.1.0.425 when I've updated it (twice) to 1.2.0.416.

First off many thanks to everyone involved in this project.

 I could never "get into" morrowind due to the original combat and only had a basic pc when I first played oblivion and now finally I'm able to enjoy playing both games with all the texture packs and easily travel from one land to the other.... 99 hours so far and still vast amounts of unexplored land to go.

Slight problem, I was just about to reinstall to upgrade from 053 to 054 when I saw the post above about simply upgrading using just the files linked in post #33, but the link for "Morroblivion Additional Support Files 2 -- 122 MB" gives me this error

Invalid or Deleted File. 

 The key you provided for file download was invalid. This is usually caused because the file is no longer stored on Mediafire. This occurs when the file is removed by the originating user or Mediafire.

Any ideas ? Also sorry if this is a daft question, but just to confirm I don't need the entire 2.5gb 054 file to update from 053.

Yes, you don't need to download the entire 2.5GB release to upgrade; you can just follow my instructions above.

Hi, I was just wondering why the mediafire download link to the master files is not working.

Whenever I click on the link, I go to the mediafire website but an error mesage appears saying that this file is no longer avalible.

I just want to know:

Is it just me?

Is there another way download it?

Yep I am on vacation through the 16th in Yellowstone national park, so i won't be able to update this for about a week.

As qwerty said, just download the 055 master file from the project release thread, download my 2.5gb pack, and download the latest "additional support files 2" from the project release thread and extract its files on top of the 2.5gb pack, overwriting the old ones. That will get you by.
