NPC dialogue text not staying on screen longer than a few seconds. Installed Ely's

My problem is when I speak to an NPC, the text dialogue doesn't stay on screen for more than 2 seconds. I consider myself a fast reader and have trouble keeping up with it. I installed Ely's Silent Voice before I installed morroblivion but it does NOT last 8 seconds max. Don't know what's wrong here, anyone have suggestions?

I installed Ely's Silent Voice before I installed morroblivion but it does NOT last 8 seconds max.

This means you installed it wrong. You should have Elys_USV.dll, Elys_USV.mp3 and Elys_USV.lip in "Oblivion\Data\obse\plugins\" folder. You should also run the game using obse_loader.exe

Alternative solution is to use Protocolled Dialogs
