Bloodmoon trouble
just downloaded morroblivion, i read that you need morrowind with both expension, so i pulled out the old morrowind GOTY and started install on my computer, i installed it on the computer before and unistall it, this time it goesn't work, try twice both time will not run, when i hit play in the morrowind menu start the morrowind window then, a Error window come up saying,
Failed to load snowflake: Meshes\BM_Snow_01.nif.
the second time i installed morrowind then check if it work, it did and then tribunal, it work with some gitches and when i load bloodmoon it doesn't work and gets the error above
i have installed it on two pc before no problem included the one this time with no problems

try wiping your cd off?
today installed it on a different old pc, and it run with out any problems, i think some old files from the first time i installed it must be causing the problem, i never mod morrowind and don't know where the morrowind game saves and any other files not in the main morrowind files are. does any know????? i can even find where the old game save is from the first time i installed it and played then uninstalled, seached it nothing, help????????
I have this same problem on my scratched game of the year cd. I installed it several times and it works some of them usually after the third install have no idea why but it just doesn't work sometimes others it does
what operating sistem do u use. and dont use the old vista exuse( i say this cosim sick of people blaming every thing on vista IT WORKS FINE on my pc not that u said anything about it) maby u just need to clean the disc.
yeah I would say that cleaning the disk would solve your problems it is only around 6 ozzy dollars to get it buffed. I run vista on my laptop and I think it is fine. The voice commands help me out tuns and there are no compatibility errors.
the CD fine, its as good as new. i run vista 64 ult. i also was able to use the cd on other pc and run with no problems, but still cant get it to run on my pc
there is an update for blood moon that is needed to run on vista. Well that's what I needed to do anyways. That is actually the exact message that it gave me before i looked up a way to fix it and after i installed the patch works 100%. just google bloodmoon patch download and install.

Yeah, I had issues with BM too, I think I just went with a pre-made package someone posted, because it was randomly breaking on various files.

Honestly, Beth needs to do this legit for us, we made them rich, and they claim they are against it due to copyrights on the art.? Really? I've never, ever, heard of a game company renting art for a game.
Even if they did, they've got the money to buy the old MW art, it couldn't cost that much to buy them(whoever it is.) out, and then release a new expansion for Oblivion(making back anything they spent, and more..)..
They bought out ID software, I'm sure they can afford some old artwork, you'd think they would want to own the full rights to MW anyways. (Considering, it's pretty much one of their best titles.)
Meh, I don't even wanna think about it..
