The website had expired captcha issues that prevented new user registers for months, and recently it's disappeared entirely. Anyone know what happened?
If it's been abandoned, I wonder how comfortable the new Morroblivion team would be with using its assets. The Redoran stuff could be useful, especially if there is any interest in making Morroblivion Nexus-legal. Would there be anyone from the Silgrad Modding team that could be asked?
I always had a idea of backporting Skywind Assets to Morroblivion!
SHEOGORATH IS DEEEAAADDD...!
I have a copy of the most recent public Silgrad build, if there's any need for it. I just never installed it because of the size.
@DaggerfallDev: Are those assets built from the ground up, not converted from Morrowind?
@Puddles: I was able to download a copy shortly before the site shut down totally, but since I couldn't register I couldn't download the available clean esp. I tried it out, and it's a trip. All the cities are larger than Vanilla IC, and everything else is at that kind of massive scale. It was too much for my middling system to handle, but the ambition displayed was kind of fascinating. It's perhaps worth checking out once, is what I'm saying.
I wish there was some way to declare it officially abandoned and therefore free to make use of. Right now it feels a bit like deciding how long after the corpse died until one can rifle through its pockets.
@1Mac The 3D Models I've been recently porting are completely built from the ground up.
The idea I had was once Skywind is released, Back Port most, Textures, Models and Voices etc. At least the Voices would be a tremdous improvement.
If nothing else it'd have been cool to have the Imperial armour from Silgrad Towers in Morroblivion... While the style of the "default" Morroblivion armour (I _think_ it's the armour from Vvardenfell Imports?) isn't too bad, I always found it a bit to shiny, and the helmets seem oversized...
I'd never heard of it, but I wouldn't mind taking a look at it
Are you Shore it was not bought Out happened a couple years ago with another Site.
