Daedric Overhaul

Whilst Daedric Architecture is not on current priority list, a talented artist called Erik has turned up and eager to sink his teeth into this.
He's starting with daedric furniture but to keep with art style we were looking at the other textures.

heres a quick art guide for the improvements:

well someone hasnt seen

well someone hasnt seen stargate sg1....
the oblique skew may be an issue, but each iris segment has its pivot around the ring, as they rotate the hole in centre grows. a simple series of rotations should be easy in nifskope

The shrines were built by

The shrines were built by Chimer, not sure if the had same tech minds as Dwemer, so having a tech door like SG1, might be a little over the top.

Doors currently in morrowind

Doors currently in morrowind for refrence:

It appears that they are made up of segments that get pushed inward/outward, seems a lot more logical from a functional door standpoint, A door this old would surely break if it had such a complicated mechanism as a SG1 door as you guys say :)

Another way of looking at the door that Ravanna posted is to think it will operate like this one, with the segments being pushed inwards?
