GOSSIP between NPC:S

In dragon Age Origins you can stumble on people who gossip about events in the game, like people you saved/met/killed. Quest's being solved by you and so on. This might be something for Skywind. Unfortunately it's a long time since I last played Morrowind, so I wouldn't be of any use writing the scripts. But I do have some experience writing since theatre was my major in Highschool. So if anyone has the time and would like to work with me with me on this I'd be very much grateful.

We have already written some

We have already written some stuff like this as 'Idle Banter', which adds literally thousands of lines to most every NPC in the game.  Some of it's gossip, all of it serves to flesh out the NPCs as characters.

I still think the occasional

I still think the occasional NPC could talk about main events from the game as they're completed - it would give another feeling of progression to the player and increase immersion. :) 

So yeah, perhaps not every NPC has to be super interested in the Nerevarine or guild quests, but maybe a few people with little snippets would be cool.

I very much doubt all the idle banter is done, and there may always be room for more Bi.. er B'mo. Check if they need more banter 1st.

It wouldn't be hard to add in

It wouldn't be hard to add in any additional banters about events the player has performed. In Oblivion there are a couple of "have you seen so and so later?" which are good for NPCs that you killed off. There is also the Skyrim guards that say "I heard you accomplished ...", so we could include both variances in the major towns. Not sure what we have already included since none of it is merged into the latest version.

There are already a few greetings and topics in the original Morrowind script for when you've finished the main story.  At this point, I think all of the idle banter is finished.  There may be a few new bits of dialogue needed to round out the edges as new crafting quests may be added or other minor changes in the future, but the idle banter is done.  It's just a matter of integrating it with the script we already have, and then on to recording.  I would rather not push the recording back even further.

I was the one at fault since I didn't look it up to begin with. I only heard of this mod a couple of days ago. Oh, and don't be afraid of calling me bitchimo, I took the name after all. (Actually a childhood friend did, since I'm born in the year of the dog and I'm female.. )

I don't want to delay anything, we seem to do enough of that with the repeating area graphics. My point is that this isn't a difficult subject to implement. Though I do agree that voice recordings could make it so. For now, we need to get the banters we have added to the game and then go back and review to see if we could add to it. If it wasn't for the voice files, this could be an easy mod for someone to make.
