Voice Acting Equipment Question

I've just checked in after about six months, and I noticed you guys are looking for Voice Actors.

I'd like to audition, but I have a question first.

I have an SF-920 XLR to USB condenser microphone that I purchased online.

It's certainly not a Blue Yeti, but it gets the job done for my youtube channel. Do you think it would be good enough to use for Skywind?

Here is some literature on it.

And I've attached an MP3 I made this evening doing some Ordinator quotes because they're badasses. But I can do Skyrim Khajiit, Imperial, and Wood Elf, and Breton.

I have ten years of voice acting experience at a Haunted House that I work for, and I can do multiple accents, tones, and distortions.

MakoRuu, feel free to give it

MakoRuu, feel free to give it a shot! The big things we're watching out for is any background noise. Youtube videos often allow for this sort of thing but we try to be very picky.

I suggest you submit a few samples and if the accent is good and the sound is only OK, we'll contact you and go through the usual ways of cleaning it up. Looking forward to the audition!

Thank you. I followed the

Thank you. I followed the steps to clean up my audio and make a sound profile with Audacity.

Normally I use Sony Sound Forge Pro 11, but it's shared with my business so I don't know if I have permission to use it for personal reasons.

I'll go through and do an auditition tape. I was just looking for some feed back as to whether my microphone was good enough.
