well i'm having a hard time learning all the stuff and dealing with personal life but i want to see this done so badly that i rather get no sleep than stop right now.
i was wondering why people don't use the chat seeing has it would be extremely useful
Also we need to try and find more modders willing to help..i'm sure there are a few around..if you know of any i can try to talk them into it..i've got good ppl skills after all xD
well i feel we need to get this up and running again and for that we need ppl
to end all this text i'm still trying to understand nifskope but it seems so confusing and i don't understand what's going on at all xD..i had a fun time with the blender though it's fun to extrude,subdivide,subsurf,and deform things xD it really is..it's like working with clay but i gotta get nifskope to work otherwise i won't be able to do anything..i think...i just need help with this badly rofl

Well I don't do the chat

Well I don't do the chat because when I am on there usually isn't any one else to talk to. And all I am doing is making models for now so unless some one wanted to give me a list of what needs to be done the could just PM me with it. And since weapons is my thing right now I probably wouldn't listen to that any ways. Unless they had a good reason for needing it of course.

But other than that there isn't a whole lot we can do to have people join the team. Alot of modders see big project as a big failure waiting to happen so won't help and others feel they don't have the expirence to help with a big mod. A lot of the people who do help are to ambitious in there actions and try and take big leaps forward in the mod but when faced with failure they quit. There are mods out there that modders have made that can be used as a resource and right now that is the best help we are most likely to find.

And my suggestion to you is try and find a download or by a higher end moddeling program. Alot of them have nif plugins and it is way easier to model in these in my opinion than the free ware. Maya and 3ds max come to mind, I use max.

But other than that you remind me of how I used to think. Just remember this is going to take alot of time. There has been alot of work done so far but there is still alot more to be done. Be patient.

well that could b e

well that could b e done..there are a few mods that allow you to choose the track you want the game to play OR you could make a small script so that when factor enterMorrowind =1 activate tracks and when factor enterMorrowind =0 deactivate tracks...something like that Smile
btw has anyone received the MOTF? i want to try it...ad we definetly need clothes at least to be converted cause that would greatly fix the number of people with no arms on morrowind xD it's like they got some rare corprus..btw will corprus be implemented?

Look, since the beggining I

Look, since the beggining I was one of the very few modders around, the "we need more modders" thing, it seems to keeps people stuck in the complaining department and doing nothing good for the current projects.
I have many people that comes, saying "Yes I'm going to find more modders, I will enter the forums and speak about it" People don't understand that is not going to help at all. You are going to help if you want to, this is why, I always ask "Do you really wanna do this? Are you sure? Do you have the time and energy to focus in a project this big?" it's important to stop chattin' and start workin', I'm glad that the chat is useless, because, the last thing we need is more chattering.
Don't take me wrong, I love to see people talking in the forums etc... but about modding, there's not much to discuss and much more to do, there's a time for discussion and a time for doing. That time, is gone now, this is why MOTF still open, because one always hope that some day a good and energetic memeber will join the project, not just by talking, but by doing.

Hugs, David Wolf. ;D

@Hidiety: Look, a list isnt

@Hidiety:

Look, a list isnt going to solve anything, au contraire is going to add more problems and thing to do. Besides, there's a large selection of weapon resources, I remeber a few that looked just like the Morrowind weapons, don't say that I have permisson from some good modders, including darknut.-
So my advice is... check around the nexus and ol' replacers for morrowind (like I did) and if you are able to create something much better, then do it!

It's up to you.

hey man i disagree with

hey man i disagree with you..we need a more active forum,we need to get more ppl even if they do just this one thing,share it and leave the project cause that's some improvement and it's better then nothing tbh..i just mentioned the chat cause it's a great way of helping others and talking about thins in the NOW..instead of through some posting of random questions that make no sense.. and in case you haven't noticed this project is full of problems that need fixing and a list of things to do could get them done faster instead of like now,when we get more then one person doing the same...
progress come always in the form of progressive creation and identifying and fixing problems,not by each one doing what they want the way they want.

Well I disagree with you as

Well I disagree with you as well. And it seems that you didn't read the entire message, I said that it was positive that people use the forum and the chat, but when it comes to modding there's more things to do than to discuss.
And yeah, we can have a list ....like this one?:

http://morroblivion.com/forums/morroblivion/mods/289

In the first post you can see that I did a list of things to do, but ,most people don't read it. Like I said before, it's up to you ... when you are going to help (like I did with other projects, like deserts of anequina, etc) I simply put myself to work and then I send my stuff to the team, or admin. That's the right way of helping, because it's easy to say "Yes I will help" and then do nothing at all. And yes, after a long time, you get tired of hearing that bs all the time.Ho and be more specific about a lot of problems with the project, because I can't understand random complaining, you see.

PD: "share it and leave the project" Are you telling me to leave my own project by any chance?

About some lists.

Well a list can be good for alot of things. If some one already knew what weapons had been made and could be used as a resource that would be a good list. A list in general gives me the sense that I am getting some thing done when I can look at it and see what's checked off. It's kinda like a morale booster for me. But like I said before if some one were to give me a list of stuff they wanted done I probably wouldn't listen unless they had a good reason.

music and modding

@sindorei -- it's easy to change the Oblivion music to whatever MP3 tracks you want. Just drag the existing tracks into another folder, then drag the MP3's you want into the Oblivion folder (or copy and paste them using windows explorer, so you don't misplace the originals). Wandering around Morrowind just doesn't feel right with the Oblivion music! And I love the Morrowind explore tracks. I also like to replace the Oblivion dungeon music with instrumental ambient/chill/dub kinds of tracks: Solar fields, entheogenic, kaya project, mauxuam, adham shaikh, mere mortals, makyo, etc.

@daemonnnn -- don't let the blues get you down!

As for modding, I sure wish I had the time to help, but work is keeping me pretty busy. I am kinda bummed that Baladas Demnevanni, one of my favorite MW characters, seems to be wearing an enchanted mole crab helm and won't take it off. I want to write a nano-mod that lets him say "Speaking. Hurry up." when you say his name, just for old times' sake. Smile
