I noticed that when you enter these areas, it plays the public music instead of what I think would be the more fitting dungeon music. Now I know that this wasn't the case for Morrowind, as it only had two types of music (Battle and Exploration), but I think that we could at least take advantage of Oblivions music system and play dungeon music in the places deemed appropriate. Because in my opinion, the rather peaceful public music doesn't match with tomb raiding.

The above are just some examples and lists of places which I think could use the change of music.

There is also some discussion of this issue in the old thread on music and sounds:

If you just leave the Oblivion\Data\Music\Dungeon folder untouched, you'll have the same effect. Or were you thinking of something else?
If you are using Better Music System in your Oblivion mod list, my daughter has already made a patch which changes Morroblivion caves, etc. to use whatever you've put in the Oblivion Dungeon music folder. It is still in alpha (testing), but from what I've seen so far it works very well.
It just seemed the simplest solution, given the differences in the two games. I can't say if it works without the above-mentioned mod; I don't see why it wouldn't, but I'm not sure if it's mastered to BMS or not.
If you're interested, I'll ask her if I can upload it and post a link.
Yes, please post what you've got for Better Music System! This is something that is really important, and the only way it is going to work "right" with the appropriate music in the appropriate games/worldspaces is by using BMS.
Ideally, please make a new topic in the Morroblivion Mods forum called something like "[Relz] Better Music System for Morroblivion" and then post a link to your BMS patch, a link to the original BMS (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=26892) and, most importantly, instructions for how to use your BMS patch for Morroblivion.
Okay...
Mind you, it hasn't been fully tested (I'm the only one testing atm! and we might have missed a dungeon or two), so it should be considered 'beta'. But the more people testing the better.
You can use my UESP links for a full list on the dungeons that you may have missed, if need be.
Moving Shorin_ryu to the Assigned spot since Sen-Chan doesn't appear to have an account.
Closing this issue: Shorin_ryu released his mod quite some time ago, and it seems to work great.
