These are some idle mutterings as well as conversation for the Saint Olms Tanners and Miners Hall for the Trader Nivos Drivam, the Commoner Noldrasi Bedas, and the Ordinator who stands guard there. First, Single lines for the Ordinator Ordinator- Need to get that left gauntlet repaired when I go off duty. I think I see a crack in it. Ordinator- I wonder what the plumes on these helmets come from. Never thought to ask before. Ordinator- Damn is this ever boring. Same thing every day. Almost wish somebody would try something. Ordinator- Can't wait till I get off duty. Ordinator- She's always here. Won't she ever make up her mind? Or is she here to see him? (Referring to Noldrasi Bedas) Single lines for Noldrasi Bedas Noldrasi- I don't know... Noldrasi- I've lost my coin Pur- oh wait, wrong pocket. Noldrasi- Hmm... Single lines for Nivos Drivam Nivos- Need a new supplier. I'll run out of glass at this rate. Nivos- Need to restock soon. Nivos- Could be worse, all things considered. Conversations Noldrasi- You know, you're the only merchant I know who deals in armor, but not weapons. You never did say why. Nivos- It... It's personal. Really, I wish you'd drop it. I can't, not... I just can't anymore... Not after that. Noldrasi- After what? Nivos- Nothing! I'm sorry. Look, have you made up your mind yet. Noldrasi- Still looking. You know, you'll have to tell me someday. Nivos- Sigh... You're the most stubborn woman I've ever met, and the least decisive. Noldrasi- What?! Nivos- Well it does seem like you spend all day here. Noldrasi- I'm just a careful buyer. Nivos- Yeah, sure. Noldrasi- Hmph. -- Noldrasi- I wonder if anyone has tried to make armor using ruby before. Nivos- I think I heard of an outlander that does, or has anyway. I forget his name, William... something. I can't remember. I don't know how someone would use it in armor myself, well except as an inlay of course. Noldrasi- It certainly would draw attention. Nivos- That much is certain. -- Noldrasi- You know the other day I heard someone from the Mages Guild talking about how over in Cyrodil someone is working on using gemstones in magic. Nivos- You mean for alchemy? That isn't anything new. Noldrasi- No no, he was talking about using gemstones to amplify spells. Geomancy I think he called it. Though I don't know how that would work really. Nivos- Huh... Well I don't know all that much about magic myself. Noldrasi- Neither do I, I was just reminded of it while I was looking at the gemstones. Quest related conversations This one is for the mysterious killings in Vivec http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Mysterious_Killings_in_Vivec This first part is intended for before the quest has been completed Noldrasi- Have you heard? Two Ordinators have been found dead. Murdered! They didn't even have a chance to draw their weapons. Nivos- Shocking! Noldrasi- And what's worse, I've heard there have been other unexplained deaths as well. Who, or what, could have done such a thing? Nivos- It must have been some kind of sorcerer, or maybe even a vampire, in order to have managed that before they even had a chance to react. What the Ordinators are going to do? They have to find some way to stop this! Noldrasi- I'm not sure they even know. I've heard the Office of the Watch over in the Hall of Justice is looking for someone to help. Nivos- They must be desperate. Noldrasi- Indeed. This is idle dialogue for the Ordinator related to the same quest. It is also intended for before the quest's completion. Ordinator- Have to keep on my toes. Can't let it catch me off guard. Ordinator- I was hoping for more action, but this isn't what I meant. Ordinator- What could have killed two Ordinators before they even had a chance to draw their weapons?! This conversation is intended for after the quest's completion Noldrasi- They've found the one who was committing those murders. Nivos- Yes I've heard. Some mad-woman with an enchanted dagger. I've heard it can drain the energy right out of you. Leave you completely exhausted. Noldrasi- Well that explains how she got the drop on those two Ordinators. Well I'm just glad it is over now. Nivos- You and me both. This intended for before the completion of the quest The short unhappy life of Danar Uvelas http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:The_Short_Unhappy_Life_of_Danar_Uvelas Noldrasi- Poor Moroni Uvelas. Her husband hasn't been home for days. No telling what that no-good man is doing. Nivos- I'd heard Danar Uvelas had been trying to kick the skooma habit. So much for that I suppose. Noldrasi- How could he do this to that poor woman? Doesn't he understand how much this hurts her? Nivos- I suppose when you are addicted to something it overpowers all of one's other concerns. It's a damn shame. Noldrasi- She deserves better than that. This intended for after the completion of that quest. Noldrasi- Have you heard? Moroni Uvelas's husband is dead. They say he contracted Corprus. Nivos- How horrible. Still, at least now he isn't suffering. Noldrasi- I wonder what Moroni will do? She must be devastated after a shock like this. Nivos- I wish I knew. Of course suggestions for revisions or additions are always welcome.
