Description

Hi! first of all, i would like to thank all the morroblivion team for this fantastic project, clearly the best mod for oblivion!!

Well, i had a little problem, a curious problem i would say. i´vee been playing for two days without any bug or strange thing, using potions without problems. However, i just went to Nalcarya in Balmora and bought some exclusive restore health and strenght potions after a nasty bonewalker attack, hehe.

Well, i bought the potions and paid for it but, for my surprise, they were not in my inventory! Neither on the floor or any chest in the shop. I reloaded and tried again, and same thing keeps happening: my money is discounted, but no potions in my inventory.

Also, only happens with "morrowind potions"; buying oblivion potions in morroblivion gives no problems to me.

Could u help me? if i cannot buy this potions, there is little for me to do, as "pure oblivion" potions are rare in Morroblivion!

Hmmm, that's funky man. If you start another character, does it still happen? How about a new/older save?

Ok, i reloaded a game and realized that its stranger than i thought!! It happens only with some potions, but not with all of it. For example, I can buy with no problems Exclusive restore Magicka or Fatigue, but not Health or Strength. some things that may help to get the problem solved:

1- I have the Spanish Oblivion installed, although I don´t thing it may be the problem.

2- As I said, only happens with some potions. Apart from not appearing in my inventory, neither are removed from vendor´s inventory.

3- It began to happen just after the Bonewalker attack.

4- I have just realized it only happens with Nalcarya; i tried other shops in S.Neen and Sadrith mora and there is no problem there.

I was able to replicate this ... Bonewalkers and Spanish version are irrelevent since I was able to relicate this without either of them Wink

I haven't been able to figure anything about it ... so perhaps someone with more experience with merchants and inventories should take a look.

I can't repicate this with v049.  Nalcarya of White Haven has the potions and the transactions work fine for me.  I specifically tried the exclusive potions you mentioned too.

However, Nalcarya was one of the merchants that someone else "oblivionized" before I did them all -- this person set up the oblivion-style merchant system for a few merchants in balmora, then I did the rest of them.

So there could be something weird going on.  There is no script attached to Nalcarya or her vendor chest...

Are you guys using any "enhanced economy" type of mods?  I have nothing installed but Morroblivion right now...

I haven't tried this in v49 yet ... but no I didn't have any economy mods whatsoever ... just morroblivion.

There are two chests which she uses to sell stuff. One is the chest right behind her (which she indirectly owns ... because she owns the entire cell) ... and another 'hidden' chest below her which (I think) she owns directly.

Both chests have more or less the same contents ... but one is set to "respawn" while the other uses the morrowind approach of negative inventory counts. So I guess that problems might arise when adding the contents up for the transaction screen.

Also the problem happened rather inconsistently ... sometimes the potions would end up in my inventory while at other times they wouldn't.
