Morroblivion

My Name is Andrew Ellis and I am looking to join the 3D Modeling team on this exciting project and possibly work with the animation team at a later date.  

[About me]

I am currently studying 3D Modelling at a post graduate level and would welcome the opportunity to apply the skills I have gained from my studies to Skywind. Alongside my course I maintain a part time job in the fast food industry and enjoy a wide range of video games in my free time. I have a passion for music and playing bass guitar. I partake in regular  exercise session with a personal trainer and enjoy biking, camping and football. I am also participating in several table top role playing games with a close group of friends.   

[Skills]   

I have a firm grasp of 3ds Max due to continuous and varied experience over the course in the past 14 months. I have moderate experience with image manipulation software such as Gimp as I've been consistently using it for several years to date. I am capable with Autodesk Mudbox and have been trained with it as a part of my course. As a part of my course I am currently learning about engine implementation. Separate from my main course I am also engaging in private studies of both Unity and C-sharp coding which I believe I will be able to transfer into practical application should the opportunity arise.  

[Why I want to volunteer on this project]  

I have fond memories of Morrowind from my childhood as one of the first role playing games I ever played. I feel that it has influenced my choice of games throughout my early life. Although I'm certain that it will be a challenging experience I truly believe that Skywind will allow a number of new players to experience the game for the first time as well as provide seasoned veteran players, like myself, to revisit the game and gain a new level of enjoyment from the plethora of new features and improvements.

For me personally, I am keen to see Morrowind revitalized with superior graphical immersion, the new environment to explore, using incredible remastered items and with all of the best features from Skyrim we've grown to know and love.
