[Coder] Coder/Developer

Hello, my name is Kristopher Tadlock. I am a software developer at a company called Infinite Technologies. I work in a .NET web forms environment. I have used a variety of languages over the years, but currently I specialized in Microsoft SQL Databases, C#, Javascript with Jquery/hml5/CSS. I would love to contribute to the Skywind project in anyway I can. In particular, I would love to develop custom tools and software to help make the Skywind project more organized, productive, and efficient.

Morrowind and the modding community has been a passion of mine for more than ten years. I was introduced to the game by my childhood best friend, who called me up on the phone one day and told me about this wild game called Morrowind. He told me that you could walk for hours in any direction, going anywhere you like, discovering a whole world of secrets, adventure, and mystery. When I was 15 I got an XBOX for Christmas and one of the first games I bought was the original Morrowind.

Fifteen was a tough age for me, as it was for lots of awkward teenagers. It is not much of an exaggeration to say that Morrowind helped me survive through my adolescence. Everyday I would come home and explorer the open and vibrant world of Vvardenfell. The rich story, unique environments, and complete freedom captured my imagination. I exploited glitches and abused its many broken mechanics to become a God of my own little world. I completed nearly every quest and explored almost every ruin. I bought the game of the year addition later, and then I bought it for PC.

The desire to play morrowind, and it successor oblivion, on my crappy P4 dell computer with 256 mb of RAM (fat chance) introduced me to computers and PC gaming. I learned how to build computers so I could upgrade and play those games. Computer introduced me to operating systems and software. Software got me interested in programming. Programming is now my life's passion. I owe a lot to this game.

I want to help make Skywind so I can selfishly relive the world of morrowind, and also so I can help me it more available and accessible to new players. Morrowind was so important to me growing up. I want to see it alive and well going into the future. If there is anything at all I can do to help, I would really appreciate the opportunity to contribute.
