Hi I'm Terena.

I'm a junior developer, in my first programming job (10 months now), and finding that the more coding I do, the more I want to do! I really enjoy solving puzzles, and that's what coding is to me - just another puzzle to figure out. I haven't used Papyrus before, but I have a strong background in object oriented programming, and so far I've had little trouble picking up other languages. I'm checking out a few Papyrus tutorials, though I find I learn faster when I have a specific goal to work towards, so feel free to set me a training task to prove my chops.

I'll be honest, I'm not certain how much time I'll be able to devote to this, especially since my day job is coding - I may get burnt out from time to time. But if I make a commitment, I will keep to it. I've been following the Skywind project with interest - Morrowind was my first introduction to Elder Scrolls, and I keep going back to it, only to put it away again soon after. Even with a few graphics mods it's showing it's age, and I find myself wishing for features I've become accustomed to in its successors. I would very much enjoy contributing to a project that recaptures that sense of wonder and excitement of when you first step off the boat.

If you have any questions or want me to go into more detail about the projects I've worked on, do feel free to chip in.

Regards

Terena

Hello,

the tutorials for papyrus are quite good for starters and some Creation Kit knowledge wouldn't hurt. If you feel like you are familiar with CK and can handle papyrus, come back to me or MaxNoSense.

Hello again,

I've worked through the Papyrus tutorials, and familiarised myself with the Creation Kit, and feel that I could make a start on tackling something a little more complicated.

Okay, here's some more advanced material you should read.

To join the coding department, you'll need these accounts:
trello
gitlab
discord

Tell me the account names in a PM. I'd appreciate if you also told me about your projects you've worked on so far (also in PM).
