Hi,
My name's James and I'm 23 years old. I'm a freelance music producer and I have some experience of music production at university. I left university due to health reasons but I've never stopped making music. My music has been used for a small theatre production at Lichfield Theatre (a production of Midsummer Night's Dream). I've also released an album on an internet record label and I have a physical copy available on Amazon.
I've been playing TES for about 13 years (has it really been that long?!) ever since reading a review of Morrowind in PC Gamer and becoming enchanted by its game world. I've played all the Elder Scrolls games since then and I'd love to be able to add something to the Skywind team. I believe I'd have more to offer the SFX department rather than music as I like to manipulate sound to create new textures in the music that I make. I'd love to compose some music too, but i'd have some pretty stiff competition as the music i've heard so far is stunning.
I have quite an eclectic music taste, ranging from metal (in all its forms. Death/Black/Thrash/Doom etc) jazz/fusion, classical (late romantic), avant garde/experimental, goth, folk, prog, industrial, electronic, ambient, you name it!
I'd love to help. Thanks for your time.
James

Hello Breeze 23,
Most of the people who join SFX with a digital music background tend to leave after a month or two as they struggle with SFX making. Do you have any examples of sfx or just music?
Corpus X
Hi Corpus,
I'm afraid I don't have any examples of SFX by themselves, as the ones I create are used in my songs.
I use a Shure SE2000 condenser mic to record found sounds and I manipulate samples from other audio sources to sound like something else.
