The third pic weirds me out about how dark it is around that fire, but dang dude, this looks so cool. Super great work. I wish I had the time and knowledge to contribute.
Thanks, but ahh yea should have a put a light there duh....Mehrune's Dagon color scheme is supposed reddish, are you suggesting to tone it down or remove it altogether?
Mehrunes' thing is destruction, not desolation. I'd go with more fire, more pyres, a place of chaos and slaughter. Not so dark, lots of firelight and burning offerings of flesh.
Lol the carpets are in Morrowind, I wasn't sure the extent to which I should alter the assets of the original cell, but I guess it's not a big deal if I take em out; it doesn't really make sense why they're there in the first place. I think the crates/barrels should stay there; I imagined Dagon worshippers as somewhat cluttered/messy people plus the fact that they are in the middle of nowhere and need a place to keep their provisions and anything else they pick up from unfortunate adventurers
I was wondering when someone was going to bring that up. Are the Mythic Dawn present in Morrowind? Debating whether or not to get rid of the banners. I think I might because to me they don't seem like cultists...just a bunch of crazy High Elves.

The Mythic Dawn had spread throughout Tamerial by the 3rd era...However despite that from my knowledge any mythic dawn items are only to be used sparingly and only used in specific designated dungeons.
The Oblivion crisis happens only 4 years after the events of Morrowind so it is safe to say that at this point the Mythic Dawn have spread their influence over most of Tamriel. Since they are still in hiding however, I would reserve their presence to Merhunes Dagon shrines only. Moreover, I think perhaps even only one of Dagon's shrines should have trace of their presence. Consider it more of a cameo/easter egg than an actual way to design Daedric Shrines.
BTW this is the worshippers' living area, still working on shrine area
The colour is much better, but one thing I've noticed is the bloom/glowing effect. In picture 3 you can definitely see it on that container and on those carpets.

Too red

Tone it down, not disappear alltogether... I know all about Mehrunes Dagon, he's my Godfather.
Thanks for the advice guys, I'll make some changes this week. Lol, he must have made you an offer you couldn't refuse
mommy why is that sloth sexing that rabbit.
Bit too red, needs more high contrast lighting around the fires and candles.
Shhh...only dreams
Update
Right Direction?

Why are there so many rugs in the daedric shrines? I remember some of Fuzzy's had these, too. Whaaaaaat?
no rugs, avoid barrels and crates for the most part as well. It is okay for these to be a tinge empty.
Are those carpets in a daedric ruin?

You mean the Mythic Dawn?
You may wish to read up on them, and compare shrines with TESIV Oblivion is you wish to allude to Dagon's followers in Assurnabitashpi.

I suggest that no mythic dawn clutter is added until all of the shrines are done, or at least in a rough draft version of done.
