Ooo, that would be cool. I don't know what I'm talking about, but I'd guess it would be really hard. I think that they can do Morroblivion because the two games share the same engine (tes Construction Set for both). This makes me wonder if Skyrim will not be backwards compatible (aka doing a Oblivikyrim) because of the creation engine....
It would be impossible, simply for the fact that engine is not at all similar, nor, if I remember correctly, is the gameplay style. It could likely have content ported, though.

The creation engine is heavily based on Gamebryo so it would be possible but it would be harder.
