Hi all, I'm having an issue that's really inhibiting me from doing a lot of work. Most of the time when loading up skywind in CK it doesn't load a majority of the assets. Some exist, some do not. It doesn't seem to matter if it's Skyrim or Skywind assets, it's usually a mix of the two. However it does seem to always be the same assets disappearing.
I am using a stripped version of skyrim.esm but perhaps I set it up wrong.
I downloaded the already stripped version, renamed it to skyrim.esm.cut and put it inside my DATA folder alongside the vanilla skyrim.esm. Then used the batch file from inside the main skyrim directory to load the ck.
Also I created a ESP file for me to work in that has Skyrim.esm and Skywind.esm as parents, though I only built the esp from the skywind esm
Never mind, I figured it out. Figures I'e been trying to fix this all day and as soon as I make a thread I figure out a work around. Turns out the script that switches the esm's keeps exiting while the CK is running for some reason. Opening a command prompt keeps the window from closing.
Just a tip, usually when you have problems like this it's best to ask people in chat first, they will usually respond quicker.
