Converting Morrowind-format .kf files to Oblivion-format.

I recently got approval from Hedgehog12 over on the Nexus forum to convert their from-scratch models, textures, and animations from their Symphony mod's creatures to Oblivion format for Morroblivion. I've completed several of the species and gotten them working for the most part in-game, but some of them use completely unique skeletons/animations. I've read a vague tutorial on converting them using 3ds max, but I don't have access to that program (lolpoor). I fooled around with the Morrowind Animation Kit and split the compiled kf into the individual animations, then tried to tweak them into Oblivion format via nifskope, but they crash the game. Has anyone found a method of converting them using Blender?

Here's a bit of what I've

Here's a bit of what I've gotten done so far, for posterity's sake...

Clannfear:

Hunger:

(Yes this is a Hunger in a maid outfit: probably one of Sheogorath's maids)

Nix-Hound

I just managed to get an adoooorable mudcrab re-rigged to the Morrowind Shalk's skeleton, because I couldn't figure out another way to get it to work.
