Morrowind Container Replacer + Fix + Debug for Venders
Links to Sources Link #1 Link #2
Description
This is a mesh and texture replacer for all the Crates, Urns, Baskets, Sacks & Chests. This also fixes the weight limit of containers making it infinite like Vanilla Oblivion. All textures are 1k with 512x512 Normal Maps and all models have been fininalized/optimized.
Also includes a "Debug" Model for Vender Containers allowing me to fix venders chests that are accessible to the player. If you notice a White Chest Model with Red Lettering, Please post a screenshots and location of it. So i can fix it!
Bugs (Slowly fixing them)
- Most Crates Float slightly above the other (Due to previous Developers)
- 1 Urn Model, Floats in some places but not all (Due to previous Developers)
- Some chests seem to be clipping slightly into the floor (Also occurred in Vanilla Morrowind???)

The mod is broken because it attempts to replace the crates in Cyrodil too but instead now there are two crates placed, please look at the image.

Known Issue, "Some crates and barrels clip into things"mwCrateStyle Download: Updated, No longer replaces DUNCrates 1 - 3, ALL Crates that are replaced are ONLY in Morrowind, Download from the first post and overwrite with this update.
FIRST POST UPDATED
Sorry I misunderstood because I thought you meant that it will clip through objects in Morrowind because I already saw some floating crates (clipping objects is already common in regular Morroblivion). It should've been written like "some crates and barrels may conflict with other known crates and barrels by causing them to overlap". If this is a issue that is unfixable, wouldn't it be better to just retexture the barrels and crates? This way you wont get any floating barrels or overlapping barrels. I looked at the textures by the RR team and the regular Morrowind texture and it is possible to adapt them to Morrowind's UV. This is actually what I did for Morrowind because RR Mod Team's crates and Barrels are incompatible with Animated Containers. I'm not sure if Morroblivion uses the same UV because I cannot seem to find any of the crates or barrel assets for Morroblivion after extracting.

A: It's easily fixable, I can remodel the Crates & Barrels so they matched the size of the Vanilla Crates, I would do this.. BUT Morrowind crates were originally slightly smaller and I want to keep that feel. The reason you see so many crates floating was because the Old Morroblivion Team possibly adjusted most of them to fit Oblivion's crate size.A: I will not use Morrowind Assets, When there is an alternative that meets certain standards, besides RR Mod Team's crates fit Morroblivion's World like a glove..
A: Morroblivion actually uses Oblivion's crates, Thus is why this mod was born.
Also I have updated this Mod, I'm actually working on Crate Placement issues. The future version contains the Basket's & Urns too
Alright. If it's fixable that's good to hear. I was going to adapt the RR Mod Series textures to work with vanilla Morrowind models and give them to you but if you wish to not use Morrowind Assets thats fine.
May I also ask you a question about Morroblivion models/textures?

Sure! Questions are welcomed!First post has been updated, Now contains other containers to match the crates
Is there any place where I can find more information on Morroblivion files? For example, I want to retexture certain things or change the model of a object but I cannot seem to find the assets because the names are different.

You should use the Construction Set to find specific objects or BSA Browser to unpack the BSA archives... Most of the objects have the same name except "_" is replaced with "U"This is roughly how everything is sorted in Morrowind, You can adapt this for Morroblivion
