Cannot Join Fighter's Guild in Balmora

please note that i did run BOSS on this load order and everything seems to be good, minus the not being able to join the FG in morrowind. i havent even tried the mages guild in balmora yet, but i know the imperial cult and legion joining dialogue work fine. I did try disabling the "fighters guild quests.esp" since i would maybe expect it to conflict? but that didnt work either, any help or suggestion is appreciated though, as this is my first time with morroblivion in particular.

okay thanks i will try that sometime this weekend and get back to you. If it doesnt work i will just try turning off the majority of mods i have and see if this is some mod conflict issue, i suppose i might be able to see that in tes4edit though right?

so i tried that console command and it didnt work, but, i tracked down the quest id for joining the mw fighters guild and tried the completequest command, that didnt work either. setstage 01010566 1 did work however, which put me at the lowest possible rank within the guild. i also tried player.setfactionrank 2228f 1 but that didnt work either, it just put me in oblivions fighters guild, im not sure if they count as the same thing in your faction list. ironically joining the mages guild in balmora worked perfectly as it normally should. thanks for the help however it helped me figure this one out!
