Level up crash

Submitted by kbls on

OK, I have followed every post about this problem and not a single one even comes close to addressing the problem or fixing it, so here it goes again...

hitting exit causes the game to crash, I cant get a crash report due to being on windows 8 aparently.  So, after mixing and matching every single combination of ways to get this working ive found that it is something inside the morroblivion ob ESM that is causing the crash  any other combination of mods with or without the unoffical patch work fine but when the morroblivion esm is activated it crashes the game when the exit button is pushed on the level up page.

currently have fresh install of everything in order per install guide.

1. install morrowind, tribunal, bloodmoon, oblivion, shivering isles

2. patched all vanilla games to most up-to-date patches per bethsoft offical patches page.

3.install obse, menuque mod, and ellas voice mod

4. run the installer to generate the .esm

5.install wyre use instructions to install resource pack

6.install unoffical patch from nexus.

7. crash still happens. when exit button is pushed on exit page.

load order(tried every combination i could think of but nothing changed the problem with the morroblivion ob.esm)

oblivion.esm

morrowind ob.esm

morrowind ob.esp

unofficial ob patch.esp

dlcshivering.esp

morrowind ob chargen and transport.esp

morrowind ob ucwus.esp

morrowind ob tree.esp

morrowind ob maps.esp

morrowind ob conversations.esp

bashed patch.esp

any details or help would be greatly appriciated, my only thought right now is to just disable this mod everytime I level up cuz it works fine without the mod activated.

If you Disable Morroblivion_ob.esm  to Level Up you Will Loose your Quest Save Data.

Try Disabling AUTO Save Under Oblivion Options.

i just fixed the problem after just setting myself to lvl 50 and doing both main quests and several morroind side chains. lol, but I realized the problem was a combination of the wrong 1.2.0416 patch and a corrupt .esp of shivering isles.  thanks for the help tho!
