I've been playing for a few days and just tried to use a levitation spell and nothing happens at all. There is no floating or animation as if I was levitating, I am just walking around. I am running the current version of Morroblivion and I dont have any mods that affect gravity. OBSE is version 21. Thanks for any help you can provide

I do have a status effect in the corner but whenever I look up and move nothing works. I have also tried your workaround but that didn't work either. Whenever I changed the thing in the ini file I did not receive any spells.

There are a couple things it could be: (1) if you did not see a status icon to indicate the spell is active, then it may not be starting or may have an instantaneous duration, (2) if there is a spell icon present, but you are moving only on the ground even when looking up, then the JDLevitate script may not be running. Also, the normal behavior of the script is to let you walk normally if you are touching the ground - but then you would have immediately started to levitate as soon as you walked while looking upwards.

Another thing to help problem solve: There should be a "MorroblivionLeviation.ini" file in the Oblivion\Data\INI\ directory. Open it in an text editor and enable the last line by changing it to "set JDLevitationStartup.testMode to 1". This will give you a few levitation spells to test.
