Pretty funny considering that it damages him. Not that big of an issue cause there are two more copies of em, but with people that are using quest markers it could be confusing because the quest marker just disappears once he uses it.
Edit: Tried this again and he didn't consume it... I guess it only happens sometimes?

This is a bug I had meant to fixed a while ago. It only happens if he's in combat long enough because the tar is classified as a potion. This should fix it.
