I'm going to try and keep this simple and sweet. I made a fresh install of Oblivion prior to installing the mods needed to run Morroblivion. After I was done with those, I installed, and this is what I got. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but any help would be appreciated. As for details, I'm using the Steam versions of both, and I manually installed all of my mods.
If you tried to manually
If you tried to manually extract the "Morroblivion_v064_Complete.7z" (the 2.3GB Resources file) into your Oblivion directory or even the Oblivion\Data directory, then you will get this error. This file was designed to be installed by Wrye Bash or another BAIN-compatible installer. I highly recommend using Wrye Bash 306 (standalone) to make fixing a broken installation easier.
However, if you really want to do it manually, what you need to do is to move the contents of the "00 Core" directory into Oblivion\Data. Then double-check that Morrowind_ob.esp, and the Morrowind_ob*.bsa files are located in the Oblivion\Data directory. Also, if everything was successful, Morroblivion.ini should be in the Oblivion\Data\INI directory.
