I worked up to the duel with Bolvyn Venim in the Vivec Arena, however upon killing him there the quest did not update, and Athyn Sarethi will not name me Hortator. He (Athyn) just talks like he is still alive. Please help (and thanks of course)!!

What are your journal entries for this quest? Did you kill him yourself or did you have a companion with you or did you even use the console?
