After fight with Almalexia I have tried to use (equip) Ring of Barilzar's Mazed Band for teleportation to Mournhold Temple but apparently it does not work. There is completely no action after equip the ring. Furthermore after few minutes the hud is gone, inventory does not open, I can't move, can only turning around myself (similiar it looks like waiting for Almalexia monologue finish).
If that's no bug: how to use Mazed Band ring then?
At the very least a messagebox should appear directing you to close the inventory. It's absolutely impossible for it not to appear if you equip the ring. Are you using some sort of UI or complex body/clothing mod?
I can also see no reason for the player controls to become disabled again. The script that does it after you activate Sotha Sil can't fire again after it's executed and there's no information regarding it in the quest script anymore. Are you perhaps using an older version? Did you wait for Almalexia to initiate combat?

Regarding your problem - try ditching ClothingReplacer.esp. I don't know for sure if it modifies Mazed Band, but it might.
