We meed Morroblivion fences

Submitted by brutal7 on

In the original Morrowind you could sell stolen items to people as long as the items didnt belong to them. So therefore fences wernt needed. In oblivion merchants simply ignored stolen items so therefore fences were needed. Now, i am tired of looting morrowind and having nowhere to sell my goods. Then taking a 1k gold boat ride to a fence with only 600 gold. I think there should be an optional morroblivion mods that adds fences to balmora. vivec, seydna need, ald-ruhn, etc

All of the merchants in the Thieves Guild buy stolen items.  They are at the South Wall in Balmora, the Rat in the Pot in Ald Ruhn, and Dirty Muriel's corner club in Sadrith Mora.

In Oblivion there were only five fences in the entire game: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Thieves_Guild#Fences

One of the things that is the most 'broken' about Morrowind's original gameplay was that you could EASILY steal thousands of gold worth of items as soon as you got off the boat, sell it all in Balmora, and outfit your character with mega nice equipment.

Now you have to travel a bit more before you can do that.

Anyone else pick up the limeware platter and then drop it straight away so it didn't get confiscated, then take it to aurille and get loads of good stuff. LOL. Can't do that now :(
