My name's Michael, hi there!

I'm a student of Computer Science at Cal Poly SLO. I've had experience as a Junior QA Tester for the business software company Greenrope. Although the material is much different, the methodology of edge-case testing and attempting a variety of tasks in multiple different ways may prove similar in many ways.

I've also experience with object-oriented programming in languages such as Python, Java and C. I'm still a student, but I am capable and eager to learn and help. I'm confident that I could learn and understand CK and Papyrus enough to be of some assistance.

Aside from these technical experiences, I'm a Senior Editor at MonsterVine.com where I largely critique or preview games. Here I look at and write down my thoughts on many aspects of a variety of video games, including technical and non-technical characteristics, as well as judging what I deem to be "fun." Through MonsterVine I have attended press events and spoken directly with developers and publishers.

* # of years of QA Experience: 3 Months
* # of years of gaming: 13
*knowledge using Papyrus (preferred not essential): None
* Experience using Console commands: Comfortable
* Knowledge level of the original Morrowind Game: Extensive
* Availability and time you can commit: Most weeknights as well as odd hours, 5-20 Hours/Week

I know how video games work, I have technical proficiency and experiences with programming and QA as well as more common but equally as useful office and collaboratory programs. I have played through Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim extensively and know how the games work, how they are structured and often how they break. Same applies to every Fallout title.

I am still a junior in my interests and experiences, but I'd gladly volunteer any of my services if they could help this ambitious project come to fruition.

My Application PDF is attached below.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to the project whether or not you all would like my assistance.

Cheers!

Edit: I believe I saw a space for PC Specs somewhere, but I seem to have lost the section. I'll post them below.

My PC:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4690k CPU @ 3.50 GHz (Overclocked to 4.0GHz)
16.0 GB Installed RAM
GeForce GTX 970
3TB HDD
250GB SSD

hello,

this seems more of a QA application, but if you want to do coding, start with the tutorials for CK and papyrus.
