A very basic 'thank you' thread

Submitted by marsher on

Howdy guys. I've been lurking the forums for quite some time now. I'd love to help with development, but I think the most complicated mod I've ever done was rigging some Shivering Isles armor in nifskope. 1337 skilz, I know.

Anyway, I stopped lurking to let you guys know that you're doing an absolutely phenomenal job. Reading your forums and following your updates can be more fun than playing skyrim as it is. Morrowind is easily my favorite RPG of all time, so seeing it come back to life is really awe-inspiring. I'd be more than willing to put forward financial support (within reason obviously) if that's something you guys accept. I know there are those of you who have put in hundreds upon hundreds of hours into the project and aren't getting paid a penny, so once again, keep up the great work and thank you for what you do!

Rigging you say? That is definetly not the easiest task to be done around the project, if you wish to spend some time helping, that is ;) Knowledge of Morrowind and NifSkope, maybe Creation Kit - I'm sure there are some minor tasks you could start with.

I forgot to mention: I have no knowledge of scripting in Skyrim, however I'm a CS major and code frequently in C#, Java, etc. Let me know if that's useful at all.

Ooh, I think we could very much use your help if you can code in those!

If you can Java, you can Papyrus :),  and I know there are a couple of tools for the project in development which use C#.

If you're interested in doing this kind of stuff as opposed to rigging just let me know, and I'll  see what we can do :)
