enemy and weapons scale

Submitted by wackfu on

Hello everyone, i wish you will understand, but i was wondering if you could set npc and weapons with a fix level. You know in morrowind everything was premade(except for wild animals and deadrics), you go somewhere and if you are not strong(or smart) enough you die and a lot of items are hidden(not in a chest) everywhere in the vast land. The first time i played i thought my sword of white woe was one of the best weapon you can have, before i found a deadric battleaxe in a cave. Back then i never noticed eleidon's ward was right above me, but that's why morrowind was the best TES for me. Everything was premade, the exploration was funny, because you'll never know what's hidden there, nobody to tell you and no mark. and when you found a weapon on a another scale of damage, god you are glad. what's the point of leveling if everything around you become stronger. Like i said i wish you will understand what i'm trying to say.

We do understand this and are still deliberating over how where going to do the spawn system. We are most likely going to use the radiant spawn system but we'll make it so it fill's like Morrowind in difficulty.

There are many ways we can do this. One way is by using preset spawns and the radiant system as well as the radiant system having a wider range for creatures based on where your at.

We are still deliberating like I said but trust me we are trying to keep to the DNA of Morrowind as much as possible without it restricting us.
