I know it is early in development, but was wondering if only clean installs of Morrowind and Skyrim are needed for Skywind? If either is heavily modded, will Skywind still load? Thanks.

Thank you maxnosense. That also implies that modding after Skyrwind is installed might be more sensitive to modding conflicts. I will probably start with clean installs of both Morrowind and Skyrim and be more cautious when modding than I have been in the past after Skywind is installed.

I can't answer for the Morrowind part, but since we're completely altering a lot of the core mechanics of the game, expect a lot of issues when you're running any Skyrim mod that is much more than cosmetic.
Visual mods shouldn't be a problem and run as well with Skywind as they did with Skyrim, but anything that touches the gameplay will throw stuff out of balance and might cause crashes and bugs. So it is recommended to get rid of these. There are tools such as Mod Organizer out there that allow to swap between differently modded game versions, using these should solve these problems.
