Two Questions About Skywind

Submitted by Antheneh on

So I'm planning on installing Skywind when I get my new PC but I have two questions:
1. How does it work with Skyrim mods. Can I have mods installed for Skyrim, but still play Morrowind without any issues?
2. How easy is it to uninstall?

Game looks fucking amazing and I'm so happy that there's people out to remake Morrowind.
Cheers.

1) Every mod I have used works perfectly and I can still play Skywind fine, but if there are any mods which conflict with Skywind you might run unto trouble, also, gameplay changing mods may work incorrectly because the weapon balancing wouldn't work properly.

2) It's very easy to uninstall, there's even an uninstall option.

Kewl man, thanks a bunch. Can't wait to get it.
Oh also, have you guys fixed the thing where NPC's don't wear clothes? While pretty entertaining, it'd be cool if that got fixed :p

That is only temporary until we have cloth assets modeled and in game.

Also... people believe it's a "bug", well it's more of a case of just not having the clothes to give them because we don't want to give them common Skyrim clothes.

When will SkyWind be online?

because we don't want to give them common Skyrim clothes.

Why not give them the Dunmer clothing from Dragonborn as a placeholder?

I can't make that decision.

When will SkyWind be online?

When we feel it is playable for the public.

probably because putting anything on them after removal of clothes requires work, and working to do something just to later 'undo' that work by actually putting relevant clothes on them just means you did work for no reason.

Fair enough. I guess I had to learn patience someday.
