Do you need both to be able to use this? I dont have Skyrim but i do have oblivon. I know its not out yet but im just wodering if ill need both or not. And will it work with the dlc? I have all the dlc for oblivion via p2p.

No, it's a total conversion that ports Oblivion's data to the Skyrim game. So when you play Skyblivion, you actually play Oblivion's content inside Skyrim.

I'd say that is debatable. There are parts of Oblivion's game mechanics I prefer over Skyrim's.
Though do not misconstrue that statement as a remark disparaging Skyblivion. I wish the project only the best.
I loved Oblivion's
I loved Oblivion's interesting, whimsical quests(paintworld, saving rats from mountain lions) and it's beautiful varied environment. And I really like Skyrim's improved graphics, combat and physics. The two of them combined would be unbeatable, and that's why I really hope Skyblivion does well. There are plenty of cosmetic mods for Oblivion, but this will allow you to play with Skyrim's advanced gameplay and all that. The Skyrim engine was improved in more ways than just graphics.
