How far are you going to go in terms of conversion?

Hi, I'm Entreri. I used to write banter for the skywind project, and I wanted to ask a question. Is this going to be a direct port, or a full-blown remake like Skywind?

I'm sure that we all have a special place for Oblivion in our hearts, but many parts of it do not: Need I mention the bizarre npc conversations? Or the daedra armoured bandits? And perhaps the worst of all, the awkward and messy main story?

I'm not saying these things should be changed (especially at this point of development), I'm just curious to know If you have anything planned.

It's not even known if this project will ever see the light of day, although I hope it will! I don't think it will be a massive undertaking like Skywind, mind that, but you also know how Skywind is the first go-to and SKyblivion will come after that, if it will come.

The project will see the light of day. All we need to do now is have patience. Skywind is the main priority and the skyblivion team is just a small number of people. We can't expect that they can do everything. From what I've learned it will be a conversion with improvements.

If you want a 0.2 release, you should check this topic. If all the facegen has been done, a public beta may be released.

But in the eventuality that TES VI is released shortly after Skywind, would the project be moved to the new engine or stick to Skyrim engine till the end?
