Need art? I are artist..

Submitted by Jedimembrain on

Commented in a livestream you guys are looking for an asset artist. I could help in my free time with a few things depending on what they are. This would be something I did for fun obviously so don't ask me to rig or animate. Texturing and modeling is always enjoyable for me though. Heres some of my work...

Recently I've been working on a VR project in Unity. Everything in these shots is my own work.

Heres some TES related stuff.. (Note: This was all done before there was even a screenshot of Skyrim. So its pretty old work. I consider myself far better now. :P )

I have worked with the creation kit in the past but I wouldn't say I have extensive knowledge of the program or anything like you guys. I can import models.. textures.. work with materials. Stuff like that.

If you guys are interested in my help send me a list of assets your looking for currently and I'll let you know what I'd be best fit for. Definitely monsters/beasts, anything with skin.. Stone structures, Statues, Retextures of existing items I can do easily. Hell, I'm getting pretty good with PBR if you decide to port to Fallout 4's engine. [External image] Clothing and hair is not my strong suit though. [External image] Maybe armor though~

Wow, these look pretty nice jedi. I'm also a Unity user/dev so I really like the VR work as well btw, getting close to photo-realism there.

Hey Jedi thanks for posting your work here,
Creatures seem to be the your strong point though we also need to get started on armor sets. You also listed you can work on textures and are good with architexture which is also usefull. In the end we want you to stay motived to work on the mod so I can send you a list of things that you can do and you just pick the things you would enjoy making the most.

Sound good?

Perfect.. I'd love to help upgrade this game as much as I can. Oblivion's materials will need a lot of TLC from what I recall. That game was clearly Bethesda's first time using normal maps.

Curious.. Are you guys updating every creature model or just porting?

We have ported everything from the original game and started replacing where we can.
